Mint Royale has tweeted that it is an "Exciting album chart battle this week between Shania Twain and Wolf Alice!"
He hasn't given away much more apart from that it is not looking too good for Miley and Demi, he predicts they will enter in 6-8 range , "prob Demi ahead. Not stellar sales for either". |

Demi was never going to sell loads. Miley’s sales though are embarrassing.

I really want Shania to get the number 1. Hopefully all new albums will have decent sales this week.
With all the new entries, the Killers will fall outside the top 5 but i hope with decent sales and be a long term seller. All their previous albums studio and compilations have managed platinum so ideally id like that streak to continue but fear it wont. |

The battle might be "exciting" but sales are probably quite low, can't see either of them exceeding 30k Killers maybe #3, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran others in top 5? From this tweet, it appears Wolf Alice are at #1 in the albums chart ahead of David Gilmour, liked by members of Wolf Alice too.

Great news for Wolf Alice on getting their first #1 album, hope they can hold on to it. I'm not expecting high sales for it though.

Looks like a lot of streaming data is missing to me - think it's gonna be even closer for the top spot between Sam, Camila and Post Malone.

The rate Camila and Post Malone are climbing, Sam could end up at #3 come Friday This post has been edited by Hadji: Oct 2 2017, 04:53 PM |

Really hoping Camila nabs number 1 this week! Pretty confident she will finish ahead of Sam Smith by the end of the week.... it's just PostMalone I worry about although he is quite far behind on itunes....
