vote for your two least favourite eps and another two will go.

Deadline: Tuesday 20 August at 8pm

16. Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too (6 votes | 15.79%)

Ashley Too was perhaps the most hyped episode of Series 5 and you have decided it is the best of the three in the series! For me, it had so much potential but I was really disappointed by the end as it ended up being some ludicrous TV Disney movie which is of course the style it was going for (due to Miley's involvement) and it doesn't really fit well in the Black Mirror world. There's quite a lot of seperate ideas being merged into one and it would have perhaps been better to focus on 2/3 of these and streamline the whole thing because, otherwise, it tries to be too many things at once. There's attempts at commentary on Alexas, exploitation of pop stars, perhaps overly sexualised pop stars aimed at kids etc. The ending is certainly one of, if not the worst, across the entire Black Mirror series. It did give us the iconic 'On a Roll' tho

17. Bandersnatch (7 votes | 18.42%)

Bandersnatch received the most attention from any Black Mirror episode due to it being one of the first (and certainly the first mainstream) interactive TV episodes. This isn't any ordinary episode as you, as the viewer, are able to decide how events play out, with the underlying aim of trying to get a five star review for the Bandersnatch game you are making. Will you accept the job, will you take your medication or, importantly, will you listen to Now 2 or Thompson Twins?!? (we all know what Buzzjack chose for the latter). The interactive element was one of the most fun things I've experienced from the world of TV, it's hugely innovative and made me watch the episode again the next day or so to explore more of the endings (and I need to watch it again to try and get the 5 star review). It brings the viewer into the world more than ever before and, in true Black Mirror style, makes you question your choices and your enjoyment of what you are watching/doing. This, and Series 2 of Fleabag, have never made me feel so involved and creeped out before. However, the story itself certainly isn't premier league and naturally struggles under the interactive element. There's perhaps less substance there due to the nature of the episode and repeatedly going back to certain points after reaching a dead end perhaps can confuse your enjoyment of the actual story.

18. Striking Vipers (5 votes | 12.50% / 14 votes (60.87%)
19. Smithereens (9 votes | 22.50%)
20. Arkangel (10 votes | 14.29%)
21. Men Against Fire (14 votes | 20.00%)
22. The Waldo Moment (8 votes | 13.79%)
23. Metalhead (11 votes | 18.97%)

National Anthem and Playtest. The former was a bold introduction to a show but didn't connect with me as much. The latter was a bit too haunted house story. Both are decent enough though.

Crocodile is easily the worst remaining.

Can you add a vote for Playtest too?

Wouldn't mind Playtest going either, it's not that special.

I always wish they'd do more episodes like The National Anthem though, (Smithereens came sort of close but flubbed it by not being anywhere near as interesting) so I can't agree there.

Maybe it's the legacy that it's left as 'the one with the pig' but, I find The National Anthem is perhaps centred too much around the 'incident' and maybe more gimmicky than other episodes in that respect.
