My guess would be that she seems like the least remarkable member of Girls Aloud. I think most people would go for the voice of the band or the face of the band, some might prefer the wild one or the unusual one, and Kimberley doesn't seem to have a very strong presence, her (very valuable) contribution to the band was not necessarily musical.

I know when a group of watched Girls in Greece on plug.dj. We joked the whole time. Hey there's the publicist, the baggage handler, the taxi driver, etc.

I believe her duties in areas of promotion and management were stronger than anything she ever did vocally.
