He's just tweeted that his sixth (!!) album will be out this month 'on ALL platforms'. Haha, love that he's basically the only one doing a traditional release :')
Can't wait for this, it's supposedly more in line with his first three albums.
The last two have been such a step down, but the first three are some of my favourites of all time

! The music keeps on coming. This September is going to be WILD.
'Man on the Moon: The End of Day' is in my top 20 albums of all time, I still return to it so regularly. I actually like all of his albums to some degree ('Indicud' has lost a bit of power over time except for 'Red Eye' but the recent one is so unique and really quite grand - although not the most listener friendly of albums).
I would love this to be more in line with the first three 3 though because he's done the experimentation quite well now we just need the HITS again.

There's so much good music coming out at the moment though I'm actually sort of glad it's not coming this week, was thinking I'd have to sacrifice something in order to listen to everything :')

The two minute mark of 'Frequency' WOW. 'Surfin' is pretty funky

Yesterday I checked myself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges.
I am not at peace. I haven't been since you've known me. If I didn't come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I cant make new friends because of it. I dont trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling. Why not me? I guess I give so much of myself to others I forgot that I need to show myself some love too. I think I never really knew how. Im scared, im sad, I feel like I let a lot of people down and again, Im sorry. Its time I fix me. Im nervous but ima get through this.
I wont be around to promote much, but the good folks at Republic and my manager Dennis will inform you about upcoming releases. The music videos, album release date etc. The album is still on the way. Promise. I wanted to square away all the business before I got here so I could focus on my recovery.
If all goes well ill be out in time for Complexcon and ill be lookin forward to seeing you all there for high fives and hugs.
Love and light to everyone who has love for me and I am sorry if I let anyone down. I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like shit, I feel so ashamed. Im sorry.

Gosh that is a heartbreaking read! It's turning into a real life Man on the Moon retelling which was already painfully autobiographical. Wishing him all the best and hope he finds an inner peace somehow, god knows he's given me and so many others strength with just that debut album alone!

'Baptized by Fire' is great, that's 2/2 now for the Cudi/Travis collabs (of 3/3 if we're including 'Way Back'). They work so so well together.

A truly beautiful album. 'Dance for Eternity' had me close to tears, wow. I am so glad we got this album out of all the madness, it's incredible.

Rose Golden and Dance For Eternity are the two I can't stop playing. Willow Smith steals the show in the former. Wow <3

I am literally just posting the exact same thing again but it is ALL ABOUT 'ROSE GOLDEN' and 'DANCE 4 ETERNITY'. Going to be my 2 big songs of January at this rate, both are utterly HAUNTING and beautiful. I NEED VISUALS FOR THEM TOO.
'Rose Golden' is making me think that Willow is going to come hard and surprise us all. She has so much potential and with the right material she could be phenomenal.
The whole album is fab, but these two songs omfg.

This album took several attempts to hit, a select few tracks aside, but I'm so glad I persevered. One of those dark, deeply contemplative records that gets under your skin and reveals new dimensions with each listen. Feel like I've been missing his voice for years now as I used to hammer his debut ('Soundtrack 2 My Life' was my school bus jam for a year solid lol), and then strangely didn't pay him much attention afterwards. Will be sure to belatedly check out stuff from the intervening years based off the sublime quality of this anyway.
'Surfin'', 'By Design', 'Swim In The Night', 'The Guide' and 'Does It' are just some of the highlights...but 'Dance 4 Eternity' does things to me every time.
