You don't have to be English to enter for England, Germany had Australians last year, and Britain won with an American band in '97 Only the lead singer, Katrina was American I think But we did have Australian Gina G in 1996 This post has been edited by gooddelta: 2nd March 2007, 07:40 PM |

So now that we're two weeks in advance, do we know what time Making Your Mind Up is on at? From Radio Times: Saturday 17 March 7:30pm - 8:30pm BBC1 Midlands Song for Europe Saturday 17 March 9:30pm - 10:00pm BBC1 Midlands Song for Europe Which is annoying as it clashes with Primeval. At least it doesn't with Dancing On Ice though. Also, it appears to have been renamed "Song For Europe", but I think that's a mistake on Radio Times' behalf. |

No filler, unlike alot of other national finals this year! |

Hmm listening to longer clips, I'm actually really liking Cyndi's song. I think this could do well for us. Can't stand Brian Harvey's attempt, Big Brovaz will just flop, Hawkins & Brown are pretty good, and I'm yet to listen to the other two again.

I believe Celine Dion, a canadian, represented Switzerland at ESC 88, her song was written by a Swede. |

I believe Celine Dion, a canadian, represented Switzerland at ESC 88, her song was written by a Swede. In fact, the songwriter rule isn't even in existance any more. Some countries choose to have that rule, but take Thomas G:Son for example. He is Swedish, and has written the songs for both Spain and Norway this year! |
