British rapper Example has been recording music for over a decade and had some major hits including a total of 2 UK #1 singles and a UK #1 album. He has produced with and recorded with some big names in dance music, and these are his collaborative projects to date;

Unorthodox (with Wretch 32)

Plastic Smile (with Felguk)

Shot Yourself In The Foot Again (with Skream)

Natural Disaster (with Laidback Luke)

Daydreamer (with Flux Pavilion)

Someone To Die For (with Dillon Francis)

We’ll Be Coming Back (with Calvin Harris)

Hooligans (with Don Diablo)

Thursday (with Pet Shop Boys)

Reflections (with Jacob Plant)

War Is Over (with Krafty Kuts, Harry Shotta & Dynamite MC)

Don’t Wait (with KO:YU)

Pogo Stick (with Shapes, Milli Major, Majestic & Grim Sickers)

In The Zone (with Jauz)

Sink Or Swim (with Luude & Georgi Kay)

Drops (with Darkzy)

Another 24 (with Jacky)

Which of his current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see him feature with in the future?

My favourite of his is not actually his biggest hit in this list, but a #39 flop for Flux Pavilion in 2012. The Calvin Harris produced track which failed to reach #1 in the charts comes in second place here. A strong selection of dance bangers for sure;

1. Daydreamer (with Flux Pavilion)
2. We’ll Be Coming Back (with Calvin Harris)
3. Unorthodox (with Wretch 32)
4. Drops (with Darkzy)
5. Hooligans (with Don Diablo)
6. In The Zone (with Jauz)
7. Reflections (with Jacob Plant)
8. Natural Disaster (with Laidback Luke)
9. Thursday (with Pet Shop Boys)
10. Don’t Wait (with KO:YU)
11. Sink Or Swim (with Luude & Georgi Kay)
12. Plastic Smile (with Felguk)
13. War Is Over (with Krafty Kuts, Harry Shotta & Dynamite MC)
14. Shot Yourself In The Foot Again (with Skream)
15. Pogo Stick (with Shapes, Milli Major, Majestic & Grim Sickers)
16. Someone To Die For (with Dillon Francis)
17. Another 24 (with Jacky)

A couple of producers I could foresee Example working with are Chase & Status and DVBBS. I am sure there is plenty of music still to come from Example, especially since the recent release of his latest album. I think the time for him being a Top 40 artist is over though unfortunately.

I mean most of his second, third and fourth albums were heavily produced with dance producers involved kink.gif his third one especially!

Unorthodox is choice to include too...

Shot Yourself In The Foot Again.
Easily my #1 among the rich Example's discography.
The next will be probably 'Natural Disaster', what a stomper, and Example sorta pours gasoline into fire.
'Sink or Swim', one of the latest stuff, is interesting too.
We'll Be Coming Back, Another 24, Reflections, Hooligans - that's the heavy list I like!
Need to take a listen to his other releases. Some of em I've heard but they fell off my mind rather quickly (e.g. I do remember the existence of Deniz Koyu collab, but I don't remember the sound).

Natural Disaster easily. The buildup and chorus are more trance-reminiscent than most early 10s progressive house songs and the electro rap bit is interesting too.

Why the lack of 'Monster' with Pro Green? sad.gif

Easily my favourite Example collaboration by a mile (though I went for the Calvin Harris one in the absence of this)

Some really great tracks in this list, shame he's not still a hit machine like he used to be!

Gone for Shot Yourself In The Foot Again, iconic dubstep classic.
