Chart Commentary

A big thank you to all those 7 of you who commented on last week's personal chart, including BridgeCow, Tombo, PeteFromLeeds, toffonews, danG, HarryEzra and UltraRedLight.

In a mostly female dominated Top 10, Dua Lipa secures a second week at the top of the Top 40 Countdown. New Rules is quickly becoming one of the singers most successful hit singles. Coldplay climb to #2 with their reworked edit of Miracles (Someone Special) featuring Big Sean. Selena Gomez and Sigrid also climb places this week within the Top 10, and there's also a 21 Place climb for dance outfits Duke Dumont & Gorgon City whose single Real Life ends up at #8.

Paradisio were a Belgian eurodance group from the 90's, and their single Bailando was an international hit for the group in 1996/1997. It is a surprise entry this week at #11. Many artists still climbing this week including Major Lazer, ALMA and The Vamps. Katy Perry's single Swish Swish achieves a new peak this week too.

Another new entry this week comes from Brit Award 2017 winner Rag'N'Bone Man who looks set for another future hit with As You Are. There's also new entries from Yungen feat. Yxng Bane as well as Ryan Riback feat. Some Chick. Bebe Rexha also makes a minor re-entry too.
