01 'High For This'
02 'What You Need'
03 'House Of Balloons – Glass Table Girls'
04 'The Morning'
05 'Wicked Games'
06 'The Party & the After Party'
07 'Coming Down'
08 'Loft Music'
09 'The Knowing'

There's been a lot of 'buzz' about this but not gonna lie, I was drawn to it by the rather lovely artwork (above).
Had heard the incredible 'House of Balloons - Glass Table Girls' before but I'm only giving the whole mixtape a listen now. Wonderful.

I guess this is technically R&B (?) but I'm thinking indie fans will probably enjoy it more? Who knows...move it if you pleeeease.

'High For This' = song of the year thus far.

'Wicked Games' is up there too. I'm in love.

He's supposedly releasing two more mixtapes this year, 'Thursday' and 'Echoes of Silence'.
Literally cannot WAIT. Still loving this.

Some older demos of his have leaked recently along with 'Rolling Stone' which is wub.gif.

I like that video, but it's not as good as the video for Glass Table Girls.

WHAT an album this is though, near perfection.

REALLY late but just downloaded this after a friend recommended it (I don't visit the R&B forum very often! tongue.gif )

Very good and different album, I personally love the opener, and the Siouxsie and the Banshees sample and 'Roland α-Juno' synths used in the title track. biggrin.gif

Brilliant. Yet I'm still trying to come to terms with how great House of Balloons is...don't know if I can handle this!

The Weeknd/Bon Iver/Lykke Li have basically MADE this year for me in musical terms so far.
Really can't wait for 'Thursday'. I was worried 'House of Balloons' was TOO good that the follow-up would pale in comparison, but 'The Birds (Part 1)' is seriously incredible too.

I LOVE THIS GUY.

Just about the only R'n'B album I've ever enjoyed, but oh man it's good.

The Knowing would have to be my favourite.

This.

R'n'b is one of my least favourite genres and it really shocks me how he makes it sound so incredible.
