John Still is to leave his role as Maidstone United head of football when his 18-month deal expires this summer.
The 69-year-old has more than 40 years' experience in the Football League and non-league and came out of retirement to rejoin the club in 2019. |

The National League have asked the FA to declare the season null and void due to "players contracts" which has gone done like a lead balloon for a lot of non-league sides.

Non league registrations/contracts expire in April though, EFL not until May/June. Financial implications are different so they need help now.

All football in England below the three divisions that make up the National League will end immediately and all results will be expunged.
It means there will be no promotion or relegation in these leagues. The same will happen in the women's game below the Women's Super League and Championship level. However, the National League, National League North and South, WSL and Women's Championship will continue towards a conclusion "as quickly as possible". |

The National League has now been suspended indefinitely. I'm glad their thoughts seem to be to see if its possible to finish the season rather then announce it null and void now. |

Sixty clubs are challenging the decision to cancel the season in the lower leagues, including some who had already secured promotion.

National League clubs voted to end the regular season at its current point, with promotion and relegation outcomes "under careful consideration".
The league's board had urged clubs in its three divisions to vote in favour of ending the regular season without further games because of coronavirus. The league said there was a "clear majority of clubs in favour" from the almost 90% of responses returned. Football in the fifth and sixth tiers was suspended on 16 March. Clubs in the National League, National League North and National League South divisions that have not yet voted still have an opportunity to do so, the league's board said, but it "would not change the outcome". |

The National League has written to its clubs to invite them to share their views on the feasibility of continuing with the play-offs.
A deadline of this Friday has been set for clubs to bring forward ideas to determine how they end the season. The National League board will have the final decision and it is set to meet again early next week. The English Football League is still working on the basis of two teams being promoted into League Two. |

Manager Kevin Watson will leave Ebbsfleet United when his contract expires at the end of May.
The 46-year-old was appointed in November 2019, taking over from former boss Gary Hill. In a statement, the club said they were "grateful for his efforts". |

Barrow have been promoted back to the English Football League after 48 years away following a vote by National League clubs to determine the season on a points-per-game basis.
The Cumbrian side were four points clear when the season was suspended. The vote also means King’s Lynn Town and Wealdstone will be promoted as champions of National League North and South respectively. |

New club Bury AFC have been allocated a place in next season's North West Counties League Division One North.
The club was formed by fans of Bury FC, who were expelled from the English Football League in August. There was doubt over the status of the new club after the non-league seasons at seventh-tier level and below were voided by the Football Association. However, in the structure announced on Tuesday, Bury AFC have been given a place in the 20-team, 10th-tier league. Although the precise dates are yet to be confirmed, the North West Counties League is expected to start its season at the beginning of September following the recent change in government guidance regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Another new club, Isle of Man FC, will start in the equivalent Division One South. |

It's always good to see a new club in the Football League. The Eurovision fans on here will know Harrogate best for being the host city of the 1982 contest.
