As I'm sure you are aware I'm doing a countdown in the Chart Chat room but I thought I would do one for Kylie specifically, starting this weekend. Kylie has had over 50 songs enter the charts in the UK. Here is the countdown on her most successful based on chart performance.

Outside the Top 50 - Flower

Peak - 96
Points - 6
Weeks in the top 10 - 0 weeks
Weeks in the top 100 - 1 weeks

Personal Option

The fact this song didn't go to number 1 never mind not even getting into the Top 40 is a travesty, I love this song and deserve to be so much more well known that it is.

What your opinion personal opinion on this song or its position in the countdown ?

'Flower' such an underrated beautiful song that will only be remembered by Kylie fans and nobody else, which is such a shame and if I remember correctly sales were discounted towards this because she gave away copies of it on her tour or something like that and it would have ended up top 40.

'Put Your Hands Up' was a good album track, but not a good single just like 'Better Than Today', but the remix is far better and does a whole lot of new life into the song, it deserved better than #93, I think if it was given a proper video and a more push then it could have had a chance, maybe at least a top 40 position. There were so many great tracks on the album that was screaming to be released like 'Closer', 'Aphrodite', 'Cupid Boy' & 'Looking For An Angel', so many missed opportunities.

'G.B.I.' never been keen on this, although it was an interesting direction for Kylie, very non-commercial and weird, this will always stand as an oddity but fascinating concept in her discography, but so glad she went back to pop music after this and made a stunning return to the top, shame that will never happen again, but one can always hope.

I agree, while I think Better than today is better, neither should have been singles but yeah much better options on the album

"Crystalize", Yes I do really like that song and do agree that it's better than most of the tracks on 'KMO', and again this will stand as a forgotten Kylie gem by the public, and will only be half remembered by Kylie fans even. If this was released during her heyday, then it would have definitely been top 10 in like the early 2000's.

"I Was Gonna Cancel", I actually don't hate this song like a lot of people do, but I do think the video kinda ruins it and the only reason it was released because Pharrell's name's on it. I know I'm in the minority here but I truly think that either 'Les Sex' or 'Sexy Love' would have been better choice, hell even 'Sexercise' which already had a video that was far better, might have been a slightly better choice, not that it's great or anything but at least it had more buzz than 'IWGC'.

'Keep On Pumpin' It', I'm indifferent towards it, don't hate it, don't love it either, a rather interesting oddity in her discography that remixes one of her album tracks 'I Guess I Like It Like That'.

'The One', Yes I do agree that it's performance was a travesty and should have been huge, and well and truly could have been if it had been the 1st single and could have been her final UK #1 hit. In fact this whole era was a mess to begin with and even this didn't get properly released, only as a download which totally messed up it's sales. I still think the X era should have went = 'The One">'Like A Drug">'Wow'>'In My Arms'
