See You Again is the only one I really like out of that bunch. Does anyone have a link to the previous years by any chance?

108. BEN HAENOW - SOMETHING I NEED (-327 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4 (IN 2015)
OCC PEAK: 4 (1wk) IN 2015
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 5
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 40
POSITIVE VOTES: 29
NEGATIVE VOTES: 108
RUN: 10-10-9-9
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -81.75
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 34

As expected as anything else in this countdown a male X Factor winner's song finishes in the top 10, although this won't go down in history as one of the most memorable winner's singles, it still managed five more weeks in the top 10 than Louisa did. Latest we saw of Ben he was teaming up with Kelly Clarkson to do a passable single that nobody bought, whilst his runner up is still in the top 10, and also still in the running on this countdown

107. CHARLIE PUTH FT. MEGHAN TRAINOR - MARVIN GAYE (-282 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 6
OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 4
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 38
POSITIVE VOTES: 61
NEGATIVE VOTES: 133
RUN: 6-8-8-10-10-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -47
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 71

Another entry for Charlie Puth in the bottom 10 of this year, poor boy. This single has been bashed by music critics for its vapid lyrics, over-sentimentality and general sexless-ness in a song which is undoubtedly about sex. Whilst I concede that these are all valid points and the use of turning "Marvin Gaye" into a verb is pointless and would have probably got less backlash if they kept his name out of it, I still really love the song perhaps it's a guilty pleasure I'm just a sucker for throwback pop.

106. LUNCHMONEY LEWIS - BILLS (-268 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN:5
OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 3
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 34
POSITIVE VOTES: 51
NEGATIVE VOTES: 116
RUN: 9-9-9-9-9
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -53.6
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 55

The first song to appear that never made the #10 spot, Lunchmoney Lewis's foray into the top tier of the charts was not met with open arms by the BuzzJack massive, and honestly I am a little surprised seen as tho they embraced "Thrift Shop" two years prior which although not entirely similar still borrows it's theme and uptempo urban feel. I don't mind the song, it's a bit throwaway but not belonging in the bottom 10.

105. JAMIE LAWSON - WASN'T EXPECTING THAT (-229 POINTS)

OCC PEAK: 6 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 0
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 30
POSITIVE VOTES: 10
NEGATIVE VOTES: 66
RUN: 10-10-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -76.3333
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 23

This song has the distinction of making the bottom ten with fewer weeks then any other song in there. This song would have bypassed me if it wasn't for this chart which would have been a good thing. I like the acoustic guitar guy music as much as the next guy, but this is just basic. Basic vocals, basic lyrics and basic melody. FACT: When Googling this song (for the video for this thread) after typing in "Jamie Lawson Wasn't Expecting That" one of the suggestions that pop up is "meaning", like they're a whole mass of people stumped as to what the song entails. So here's a brief synopsis, she falls in love with him and HE WASN'T EXPECTING THAT. Maybe he didn't say it enough.

104. JASON DERULO - WANT TO WANT ME (-211 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 6
OCC PEAK: 1 (4wks)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 6
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 9
POSITIVE VOTES: 64
NEGATIVE VOTES: 131
RUN: 7-8-7-9-9-8
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -35.1667
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 65

Capping off the bottom ten is Jason DeRulo and really what kind of year would it be without Jason being in the bottom 10, this is his fourth appearance in a bottom 10 EOY Chart. Looking back it's a bit hard to believe that this was a four week #1, but it's one of his songs where I don't mind it at all. It serves it's purpose as a catchy pop song, yes his vocals are drenched in auto-tune but that's par the course for him now, as well as so many other artists, my only complaint is that title's a bit ugly, but ah well.

I like all 5 of those! Thought Want To Want Me wasn't as disliked as that and considering it had such a short run in the top 10 would have avoided the EOY bottom.

Want To Want Me is a very good pop song, extremely well produced. One of my favourites from him now, although not at Talk Dirty levels!

One of the long runners of the year just missing out on a spot in the bottom 10. It started out relatively well in the chart before sinking to the bottom as longevity was not kind to this on reshuffle. Again, this is a song that I really like, it's that sort of college rock song that works really well on nights out.

The first of The Weeknd's three top 10 hits of 2015 misses the T100, and I'm glad it's this one. I remember really disliking this at the time, it was so dreary and repetitive, although it didn't help it played constantly at my work, but it no way give me any indication that I'd end up liking The Weeknd as much as I did by the end of the year. When listening again for my rating, I thought my initial judgement was too harsh, after all the production's cool and The Weeknd's providing solid, sexy vocals but after two minutes I remembered my problem with it. It just goes nowhere.

RE: Wasn't Expecting That, I know right. I've literally listened to it in the last hour to do my review and forgotten how it goes yet again. Also, Shut Up And Dance didn't make the bottom 10, just missed.

101. SAM SMITH FT. JOHN LEGEND - LAY ME DOWN (-201 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3
OCC PEAK: 1 (2wks)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 0

AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -67
LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 57

Missing out on the T100 is as Ultra wanted "Lay Me Down" leaving Sam Smith with 2014 leftover "Like I Can" left. Now time for unpopular opinion, I don't mind this song.

In fact in the beginning I really like it one of Smith's best solo and vocals, but it does get quite harsh and messy towards the end of the track. And John Legend's there too.

In what universe would "Shut Up And Dance" and "Earned It" be worse than THAT version of "Lay Me Down"?

And even with that, there's still a bunch of crap in the top 100.

Buzzjack is shameless.

Wish Sam Smith was last sad.gif

Never really liked Sugar, though, and also its strange to see that A Bridge Over You is higher than See You Again and Writings on The Wall, even though it was ranked lower than both (bottom in fact) in the number one ranking of the year. Maybe it's because A Bridge Over You got a fair amount of sympathy +1's and +2's.

I don't get how Show Me Love has done so badly, though, it's amazing in my eyes, and a really nice chilled song.

EDIT- How the hell is Like I Can in the top 100 ohmy.gif

People are forgetting that some of these tracks only spent a few weeks in the top 10 to accumulate negative scores. E.g. Lay Me Down would be even lower it had just one more week in the top 10.
