Loving this competition, and your song selections. Slightly worried we're soon to run out of possible winners though
 Was expecting 'Say You'll Be There' to be saved for the final round. But I suppose we've still got 'Viva Forever'. Interested to see how this plays out! |

Good result in Round 7, Say You'll Be There came 5th! 46 voters out of a possible 98 people. So we've progressed into Round 8, and we're in the final 10 artist forums!

We probably played big songs like Stop too early; those early rounds probably should have been dedicated to choices like Too Much and Goodbye... but at the time I wasn't aware it was going to last for as long as 13 rounds! Cheryl (representing Girls Aloud) ended in the Bottom 3 with Fight for This Love in Round 7, so that puts us off taking a chance with solo stuff at this stage. Our only really big song left is Viva Forever, as you say, and then below that would be Too Much/Goodbye (which don't tend to receive as much love as Viva Forever). Songs like Mama/Let Love Lead The Way/Headlines would presumably bomb  Upcoming rounds: Round 8: 10 songs (Double Elimination) Round 9: 8 songs (Triple Elimination - 2 tracks/Album track round) Round 10: 5 songs (Single Elimination) Round 11: 4 songs (Single Elimination) Round 12: 3 songs (Single Elimination) Round 13: 2 songs (Single Elimination) If we leave in Round 8 I'll be satisfied that we at least made the Top 10, if we make it to Round 9 I'd be really pleased! |

Completely agree. I think 'Goodbye' may have done ok a bit earlier because of the emotional attachment most of us have to it. But would've still been a bit of a gamble.
So pleased the Spice Girls have held their own against more current artists for so long. You've done the girls and the fans proud. |

It's looking like Spice Girls will either come dead last tonight and be automatically out of the competition, or go into a play-off with Girls Aloud or Zara Larsson... and I feel like we'd lose against both?
 I don't think we'll get enough votes to pass Kylie, who is currently 7th.Seems like BuzzJack doesn't have much appreciation for Goodbye! I find it a shame how it's become gradually become more underrated as the years go by, including on YouTube & Spotify. It's such a beautiful song. Sighhh. (I'm for both Girls Aloud & Spice Girls to be honest, I'm a mod for both forums  )

Oh no! I didn't realise there had to be a play-off. I thought that was only for a tie situation.
Poor 'Goodbye'. For me, it's very much the swan song for their heyday. |

If we do squeak through (which is looking a bit doubtful). I wonder what album track we could use for the next round?
NGUOTGT is clearly their best album track. But people might know 'Move Over', mightn't they? |
