Do the hundreds of thousands of chart show listeners that are oblivious to ACR genuinely not care or ever question how their faves suddenly go from a holding pattern in the top 10 down to the foot of the top 40 in one fell swoop?
I don't have an issue with ACR but I wish the presenters were more transparent about it and actually said 'X is down from No.3 to No.18 after having the values of its streams halved this week'. I feel like news articles about the charts should mention it too, rather than just making a drama out of 'Ed has fallen to No.13 after five weeks at No.1!!1!!' as if it's a natural thing
