Having not heard this for years, listening now I found myself knowing all the lyrics to this, One of those songs that takes you back to a specific time period - 'Grenade' being very illustrative of early 2011. Perhaps this is a sign also that the song has not particularly aged well either, but I imagine it is recognisable to anyone who listened to a radio or watched music channels at the start of the decade. Nice song, bit annoying and earnest (a theme in his music) and about the right time for it to depart.

In my mind, 'Grenade' is way better than 'Just The Way You Are' (in corny ballad terms).

'Marry You' though. It's dross!

Finally Grenade has gone! It's so of its time, I haven't willingly listened to it in years.

Went for Marry You this time - it's the only one which doesn't feel like a good solid Bruno classic.
