my chart started in 1999 so they had no hits in the 90's - since their comeback they've had the following;
Singles Patience #2 Shine #1 I'd Wait For Life #10 We All Fall Down #1 Rule The World #2 Greatest Day #12 Up All Night #1 The Garden #32 Said It All #42 Hold Up A Light #17 as far as album tracks go, the biggest hits have been Mancunian Way (#6) and Wooden Boat (#9)  Albums Never Forget - The Ultimate Collection #2 Beautiful World #1 The Circus #1 |

Greatest Day was such a letdown
 I can't believe it's joined the other three as a 'modern classic', it's hardly that good

I changed my mind when I went to see The Circus Tour ... and they were right ... its the perfect concert opener. I quite like the acoustic version as well. I knew I'd forgotten something!
the b-side to I'd Wait For Life, We All Fall Down went to #1 in my chart for 2 weeks in summer 2007, so it wasn't that much of a letdown of a single after all!!! |

#19 Patience #1 Shine #45 I'd Wait For Life #5 Rule The World #33 Greatest Day #14 Up All Night #10 Said It All #38 Hold Up A Light #3 The Flood Shine deserved #1 at the time certainly, however i'd probably now put it behind The Flood and Rule The World as my favourite (post-comeback) songs. Greatest Day probably underachieved, but the song never really came to life, plus it was around at the strongest time my charts probably ever had.
