7. Love Is Everything

03/08 votes [37.50%]

It's another closely fought battle as opinions continue to be pretty divided! But 'Love Is Everything' just about squeaked into the lead in the previous round and finishes in a respectable 7th. This is the next 'Christmas Kisses' song to drop out and leaves 'Snow In California' as the last one standing from the main edition, as 'Santa Tell Me' was only available on a Japanese reissue. 'Love Is Everything' definitely feels like an old school Ariana song - it reminds me of the 'Yours Truly' era sonically and 'Put Your Hearts Up' lyrically. This is because the song is all about spreading joy at Christmas and how love is the most important part of the holiday. The title may not give it away immediately, but once you play this there's no mistaking that it is a Christmas song as we hear sleigh bells from the word go! It's one of Ariana's more upbeat festive offerings for sure and has a pretty dramatic middle 8 and final chorus to really send home the message.

One week until Christmas now ohmy.gif just 6 songs remain.

Full results so far:
07. Love Is Everything [03/08]
08. True Love [04/07]
09. Last Christmas [04/09]
10. Not Just On Christmas [04/08]

11. Intro [03/06]
12. Santa Baby (feat. Liz Gillies) [03/07]
13. A Hand For Mrs. Claus (with Idina Menzel) [03/09]

Feels about right for 'Love Is Everything'! DEFINITELY switching to 'December' now, that one is good but I love the rest, going to be tough soon.

I'm gone for 'Oh Santa' this time, 'December' would be my next choice.
