It's been scorchio for days now. When I left work yesterday my car temperature thingy was 23.5 degrees. In March! Gorgeous weather.Everyone is walking around in shorts.

The Queen visited my home town once. We all got the afternoon off school to wave our wee flags in a patriotic manner. My dad threatened to shove my flag where the sun don't shine if I went anywhere near her cavalcade. I got on the first bus home and went out in the garden to sunbathe. As did most of my school chums if I remember correctly (got the bus home that is, they didn't all arrive in my garden)

Psycho Kitty had no such inhibitions. The one and only time she was in heat she plonked in front of me with her bahookie raised and her tail conveniently moved 45 degrees to the side.
I guess that's why pandas are endangered and cats aren't. Stupid pandas.

She wasn't in a shelter. She lived with 2 men. They advertised her for sale. My friends stupidly bought her for my birthday.

I walk 30 mins every day, apart from weekends, then I just walk round the shops Going to the gym builds up body muscle, and would no doubt build up the muscle in the
places I want to lose weight.

It's so much better when a concert is in an arena or stadium.
One of the reasons I didn't get tickets to see Madonna this year was because the nearest venue to me was Hyde Park,
wouldn't stand a chance of seeing anything there tbh unless you get lucky enough to be at the front.
You'll have a brill time Tess, she puts on a great show.

I saw The Awakening recently on dvd. It was quite scary. Did you see The Woman in Black starring Harry Potter?

The powers that be decided we should get English holidays because most of our phone calls are generated from England. It's totally ridiculous but we don't exist up here don't you know....
We now get the August bank holiday when all the Scottish schools are back in. Still, I quite enjoy that one. The shops are all empty.
They haven't dared remove our 2nd January one though. Let them try!!!!

It was a brilliant show, she got a great reaction from the audience which was very sparse indeed, I would say that there was only about 20,000 there but the papers reported more but I could not see them, we could not believe it. We had fantastic seats right above the stage & could clearly see her all the time without having to look at the big screen. I loved the show start to finish , I doubt she will be back here agin given the turnout but I am glad I got to see her. It rained all the time she was on stage but she still performed brilliantly , we were under the glass roof so we were dry, the people down on the pitch were like drowned rats. Madonna came o stage at 9.20 & finished at 11pm, it was a quality show though

It holds about 60, 000 I believe, it was sooooooo empty but in fairness to her she was brillant, she loved the audience as they gave her a great reception & san along & clapped & shouted after every song, I think she really enjoyed herself, we loved it, brilliant !!!

I have to say both my pal Fiona & myself loved the show , best 'show' I have been to , loved the whole thing & even though it was raining really heavily she appreciated the crowd & gave it 100%... great night & thrilled I went.

Evening. I've been out digging my garden all weekend in preparation for laying chips. Really heavy work. I sweated like a piggy for 2 days. Just popped onto the scales all excited. I'm 2lb heavier than I was last week. I truly give up...

I've not been around much just lately, I started a new temporary job last week, finding it pretty hard going as
I'm not used to working full time, it's soooo tiring someone please tell me it'll get better?
I was sooooooo glad when I found out my new workplace has a Christmas shut down so that's me finished after
tomorrow for a week, at the moment, I think I probably could sleep for a week!
Anyway, enough waffle for now, I'll be back online properly over the weekend.

I hope to go visit Jordan some day, I have seen it on tv & it looks like a fab country . There are a lot of remains of Roman cities there with streets & everything, like being in another lifetime. Because of the climate the buildings , streets & roads are in really good condition , looked fab.

He didn't really get to see much of Glasgow tbh, went there for a meeting and flew straight back home again. He was just glad to get

I have never eaten (as far as I know ) and could never possibly eat in a million years:-
rabbit
venison
horse
lamb
and I'm quickly going off chicken,turkey,beef and pork. I feel rather about the whole situation.

I rather like rabbit, meself....especially the way my dad's late lamented mum used to make it.....hosenpfeffer....with spaetzle.....although, it's been more than 30 years since I had rabbit last...

His name was Frisky Rabbit. But he was big. Verrrrry big.
I bought him because he was the smallest, most timid looking wee rabbit in the pet shop. He grew. A lot.

I watched Skyfall again, it's a great film.

I'm still waiting to see what me mum's schnauzer/terrier mix looks like, since I'm near 1100 miles from the Florida house right now...will get to see the 'new' dog come June, methinks, when this current job I have as a pharmacy tech finishes...

I think I'm pretty much settled in at this point...still asking the odd question on stuff I'm not sure about...it was arounf 15C this past weekend, but, will be back down to about 7C by this weekend coming up....it's presently raining here and close to 10C, with some NNW breezes, and temps falling to near 2C tonight...
Had one of the ladies I'm working with ask me over the weekend at work if I had access to a fridge and a microwave where I'm staying, and, I said I have both available, to which she then asked me if I'd be interested in some home-made stew her husband had made Saturday morning, since, I don't get too many home cooked meals these days...I said, only if you want to, I'd be interested...she brought me in a small container of stew Sunday, which I had for lunch yesterday and today...they have me working weekends now at the hospital where I'm a pharmacy tech...I don't rightly mind, since, I've worked weekends before elsewhere....

Stew is good any day of the week
