My mate has seen this and he says it was brilliant! It does for spy movies, what Kick Ass did for superhero movies. It's gonna be a good watch I think.

Oh that has me even more excited Jonjo. I mean I love spy movies as they are, but having a bit of a kick up the arse probably isn't a bad thing

I saw this on Monday.

When I first saw the trailer I thought it looked like the opposite of the kind of film I'd ever even consider going to see.

But it's brilliant. It's well written, fun and both smart and silly at the same time. It's everything you'd want from this kind of film, I mean it really delivers. Collin Firth is just brilliant, and so is newcomer Taron is also great as the lead. They really do the contrast been working class London and high flying Gentleman really effectively and somewhat realistically.

Ronnie Mitchell is coming for that 2015 Oscar BTW. tongue.gif

I'm just gonna leave this here, if you need anymore convincing:

^ New crush. Made the most of seeing his body by going to see this at the Sky Superscreen too.

I could sing the praises of this movie all night. Thought it was phenomenal from start to finish including a perfect ending (as long as you don't leave too soon). The action sequences were done so well, it was silly but that's what made it so amazing. Going to have "Give It Up" by KC & The Sunshine Band in my head for days.

I loved how British it was too with Samantha Womack essentially playing Ronnie. laugh.gif And Samuel L. Jackson's character not being a fan of blood is very relatable to me. tongue.gif

In terms of movies I think 2015 has already peaked.

I can only echo what Jahq has said. Really, thoroughly enjoyed it! It was perfect in every way you could have expected from it. I too could talk about this for ages. Definitely my favourite film of 2015 so far. Now hopefully 'Avengers' delivers and I will be extremely happy with 2015, film wise! *.*

I finally got round to watch this last night (only a year late but never mind) and it was fantastic. I had no idea Samantha Womack was in this film! The moment when she was breaking down the door to snatch the kid, I quietly laughed to myself because I picturing her as Ronnie doing that. laugh.gif But yes, the film was great from start to finish - never a dull moment and a great storyline.
