I'm so confused. Lindsey didn't mention Charli, except to say at least she looked amazing or whatever.
Also, hasn't Cardi had tweets and things dug up with her being homophobic?

Calling someone a tranny is transphobic. It's an offensive slur, it doesn't matter if it came from a place of ignorance or not, it's still not an okay thing to say. It's not like she's only said it once either and she's often used other offensive slurs as well. She's the type of person that thinks she can get away with using slurs because she's bisexual, I've even seen tweets of her using racial slurs as well, again she probably thinks she can do this and it will be okay as a woman of colour as well. If someone is offended then they're offended, it's not for her or anyone else to say they don't have a right to feel the way they do. Afaik she hasn't appologised for any of this, hence my use of the word "unapologetically" Queer has kinda been reclaimed by the community yes but its still used in a derogatory way by a lot of people, it's really only okay to use in certain contexts and usually by people who actually identify as being queer. but no I defo said Cardi... I adore Charli and I know she's not the least bit homophobic, she's one person within that line up that actually has done so much for the community

Cardi has defended homophobic comments, has jokingly or not (lol everything she says is a joke because she's so weird and zany!!!1121) said homo/transphobic comments, she has said it is the job of the LGBT community to educate HER, she has made demoralising comments even about straight girls... she is abhorrent.
I get people liking her music (well I personally don't because I'm yet to find a song of hers i properly enjoy) but how people can defend her personality and find her hilarious and sweet just because she makes a few... odd noises here and there(??) I will never understand. I can't wait for her 2 year stint on the charts and the jewel of the public eye to be over. Then she needs to take time off and LEARN about humanity and its complexity. Edit: forgot her racist tweets too. Is there any community this ICON11!! hasn't offended? |

Cardi is absolute trash. On Love & Hip Hop her and her trashbag of a sister jumped a girl for her getting annoyed with Cardi that her man was cheating on her with Cardi :')
There's plenty of notable references to Cardi being ignorant, homophobic and transphobic on numerous occasions. It's fine if you like her, but facts are facts and the 'joke' and 'ignorant' excuses are lame as hell. |
