Predictions? Not sure whether it'll be a song that's out now but I think. Last week I would've said Your Song by Rita Ora but that seems to have fell away over the last week or so.

I'm thinking the new DJ Khaled x Rihanna tune if it's pushed a single.

I guess there's a very slim possibility of it being Jax Jones, looking at how well his last single did. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Clean Bandit ft. Justin Bieber was a thing in the near future though - two of the very few artists that can actually get a #1 nowadays

Ed Sheeran - Perfect (Children In Need single remix featuring R Kelly & Westlife)

In reality I don't know, but most likely something we don't know exists currently. I reckon Despacito has another 6 weeks life left in it yet.

The new Jax Jones single isn't as strong as You Don't Know Me tho. Doubt Clean Bandit would ever sell out that much.

Jax Jones could be a good shout, this new one seems to be getting rave reviews already on Buzzjack! Otherwise I'd say it'll be something we don't know about, something will either blow up a la Despacito or we'll have to rely on a big name release to knock it off (like Cold Water knocking One Dance off last year)

Taylor Swift's comeback, especially if that's around the end of summer when Despacito's slowed down a bit

Well Despacito is starting to slow down now so I can't see it lasting at #1 until Taylor releases!

I agree with Seven. Despacito still has another 5-10 weeks left at #1 so I'm sure the next #1 is a song we haven't heard yet.

Wouldn't surprise me if the new Sigala song went number 1. Or Little Mix's Power.

I'd love for Sigala to be #1 but realistically it could end up making 4-8 officially. Little Mix are a good shout but I think they'll stall in the top 3!

I think Dj Khaled could if it's meant to be the song of the summer.

Probably a returning Jess Glynne as well if she releasing soon! Otherwise I dunno. Luis will hold on for another month at least I think!

Ooh yeah I forgot about Clean Bandit! They're rumoured to feature with either Jess Glynne or Sam Smith

Or Little Mix's Power.

As much I'd love that, I can't see it going beyond top 5 at the very most. I'd say #6-10 is more likely.

DJ Khaled/Rihanna/Bryson is the best bet imo.

I have a feeling it could actually be DJ Khaled/Rihanna. I could see that and Jax Jones bumping around the top 3 at the same time soon.

Or like someone said, there's also Shania.

Just seen the lyrics to the DJ Khaled song and they are extremely explicit! Unless its a dancehall song where casual listeners won't pick up the majority of the lyrics it won't be #1. laugh.gif

It's not that explicit? It only says one word which I'd say could be offensive to the casual listener/radio!
