17 Robyn: Dancing On My Own (Peak: 3 weeks @ #1)
- Initially sluggish to climb the chart, Dancing On My Own eventually made a 15-1 jump to the top - Depsite the challenge of living up to the massive acclaim of the "Robyn" era, the single version really drew me into the song, and has thus far been the highlight single of Body Talk series |

15 Mumford & Sons: Little Lion Man (Peak: 1 week @ #1)
- Little Lion Man had the most irratic chart run of 2010; it was a #1, spent only 3 weeks in the Top 10, but spent endless weeks between 11-30 - Not catching onto this folk-rock song until it's US release in Summer 2010, there's no denying that these guys are incredible musicians who deserve everything they have coming to them |

14 Amy Macdonald: Don't Tell Me That It's Over (Peak: 1 week @ #1)
- Don't Tell Me That It's Over, took down the mighty Hollywood for a single week for #1 & spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 - Taking a more anthemic approach to her new single, Amy proved she's more than an overnight success, by storming the charts in continental Europe with her lastest effort |

13 Katy Perry: Teenage Dream (Peak: 5 weeks @ #2)

The Blues track I really love it, I guess it was the same for me, Nina Persson attracted me to it, the track just fell all into place, I know the track is a bit long, but it just grows on you I never get bored with it.
I comment on the rest of the chart when you finally have the top 100. |

10 Alanis Morissette: Wunderkind (Peak: 2 weeks @ #1)
- Wunderkind became the 1st song to ever debut at #1 - Apart of the Narina soundtrack in late 2005, I had never heard this song prior to Alanis singing it at the 2010 Winter Olympics; one of the best singer-songwriters of the past 20 years, she continues to blossom |

- You Overdid It Doll spent 2 weeks at #1 & 11 weeks in the Top 15 - Before 2010, I had never heard of The Courteeners, but after this brilliant song they made a big impact on me musically this past year; they were fortunate enough to have a Top 40 song in a year where alternative didn't chart |

- Pretty Horses debuted at #1 & spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 - A track from Shirley's solo album that will never see the light of day, Pretty Horses is one of the best dark ballads I've heard in years; here's to hoping Garbage makes a return |

- Not In Love spent 3 weeks at #1, 7 weeks in the Top 5 & currently still at #1 - A reworked track to include The Cure's Robert Smith, Not In Love is modern electro-pop infused with an 80's legend; an incredible song that rivals some of the best from The Cure's catalogue |

04 Vampire Weekend: Giving Up The Gun (Peak: #2)
- Giving Up The Gun peaked at #2 & spent 9 weeks in the Top 10 - 2nd single from their sophomore album Contra, Giving Up The Gun is a straight-ahead pop/rock song, a more refined sound than previous before; nonetheless it's Vampire Weekend at its best |

02 Mike Posner: Cooler Than Me (Peak: 2 weeks @ #1)
- Cooler Than Me spent 2 weeks at #1, 14 weeks in the Top 10 & 27 weeks on the chart - This song took me by surprise, an electro-pop infusion of R&B, Cooler Than Me is perfect, something that Jason Derulo, Usher, etc. can never seem to do right This post has been edited by West: 31st December 2010, 07:29 PM |

I found Hollywood the best of all Marina's track she released last year, Hollywood is just catchy with the catchy chorus.
I'm surprised Crystal Castles/Robert Smith finished top 5 for you in the year to date, when the track is only been released for the past month I failed to chart an Arcade Fire track in my year to date chart, probably because I got bored with their album too quickly. Great chart overall. |
