Album pre-order is now #18 on iTunes BTW! Hopefully coming for the top 10 later? |

LOVE IT!!!! They're back with a bang.
I like this a lot more than 'Omen' (though I liked that too). |

OMG !!!
sounds very much like their last era but it's so good to have them back that I don't care It does stand out in its own right anyway. Hopefully it becomes Radio 1's track of the day tomorrow and SAVES the UK top 40 this weekend |

That's the harshest noise I've heard in ages. That is not an insult, it's great to hear The Prodigy back at their most aggressive. "Invaders Must Die" was a surprisingly strong album (I think I prefer it to Fat of The Land), and this one's shaping up to be a rather interesting one as well.
Also, that video is fantastic. |

Looking forward to seeing this in the charts but it sounds like it could've come off Invaders Must Die! Was hoping for something 'ikonec' but this is still a tune I guess.

I love the video and it's great to see them back, but slightly disappointing that after an almost six year wait, they come up with something that sounds exactly like their last album. I wouldn't put it past them to do something a bit more inspired like Warriors Dance next though, so I'll remain hopeful, and I do like this quite a bit as a stand-alone song, just would be better if I didn't already know Omen existed

I wouldn't want the entire album to sound exactly like 'Invaders Must Die' (even though I'd probably still love that lol) but I don't really see anything wrong with them keeping to a sound that works. At the end of the day, progression or not, this is a great song in my only-premiered-a-few-hours-ago-so-extremely-biased opinion. I'll see how I feel about it in a few weeks. Until then, stanning.

This is simply just a massive "we're back" statement so sticking to a similar formula which worked so well with Omen is a very good move IMO. I'm not expecting the whole album to be of a similar sound to this nor IMD for that matter but this is exactly the right in-your-face kind of style that their famous for injected into a new song after a hefty absence. I expect their follow up song to be more of a "progression" if you will...

...it's just Omen again.
No progression, no nothing. It's not the worst Prodigy song - that would be Baby's Got A Temper (a really ugly, desperate imitation of 'Firestarter' which thankfully seems to have been quickly forgotten and disowned by all of them) but to return after six years with something that sounds exactly the same as Invaders Must Die is really majorly disappointing. Omen worked because it was their best single in years and years - this just comes across as desperation. Still deserves to be a hit though and a hell of a lot better than most other commercial dance around. |

I'd be disappointed if "Nasty" doesn't appear on a TV show or a movie anytime soon. It sounds like it belongs on Teen Wolf

Title track of the album then. Unsure on this as of yet tbh, certainly not as instant as Nasty (but probably one I'll grow to love in time anyway!) Certainly screams album filler to me a bit. This post has been edited by Dobbo: 26th January 2015, 07:45 PM |

Sounds like a good album opener to me! It is less instant than 'Nasty' for sure but still a massive tune. Sounds like a bit more of a departure from 'Invaders Must Die' as well.
