Welcome to the Final Round of Madonna's 'Something To Remember' survivor polls, and finishing in 3rd place and missing out on the all important final is the last of the released singles from this album 'You'll See', which received by far the most votes with 6, leaving just 2 left in the running.

'You'll See' was released in October 1995 as the lead single from this project, in which this and the album were released with the with the intention of toning down the image of Madonna, who was being heavily criticized at the time. She wrote and produced the song with Canadian musician David Foster. An acoustic pop ballad, "You'll See" features instrumentation from percussion, tremolo guitar and piano, while lyrically it speaks of independence after the end of a love affair. Originally 'I Want You' with Massive Attack was intended as the lead single, but legal troubles concerning the cover prevented this from happening, despite having a music video filmed for the track, it ended up as a promotional single instead and 'YS' was chosen instead and turned out to be a smart move as the song became a smash hit upon release by debuting at #8 on the US Top 100 in it's first week (becoming her highest debuting single at the time), and ended up reaching #6 the following week,thus making Madonna the third act in history (after Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye) to have a hit peak at each position from one to ten on the chart, as well as becoming her 29th top 10 hit. In the UK it reached #5 becoming her 36th top 10 hit there and biggest selling hit in 5 years.

This song is certainly a beautiful and defiant number in her discography when Madonna Tearfully Cries that she'll survive and stay alive, Her Ladyship is not backing down from her throne. She is a paragon of strength and a Tower of Song, that Madonna! She will not be beaten yet, that's for sure! 'You'll See' became one of Madonna's best-loved ballad numbers for sheer force of will, determination and grace too-it became an emotional highlight of the 90's decade for the reigning Queen of pop and a more than welcomed return to form.
