In most situations, the album effect does help a song to get an increase. It’s very rare that the album effect doesn’t help a song to avoid ACR but I think in this situation, it might not help Stick Season to get an increase and I’d rather Prada and Cruel Summer went ACR. They’re long overdue for it. It also feels wrong that Exes went to ACR while Greedy is still on SCR

Hope SS avoids whereas Prada, Cruel Summer and a few others move to acr to make way. Also SEB seem too early but given this is her 2nd wind in the top 10 fair enough!

Stick season 14k down on day 1 Spotify from last week so if the info on here is correct it’s heading for ACR. Those middle of the range songs… prada, cruel summer, feather won’t ever go ACR in my opinion

So Stick Season is one of the few songs where not even the album effect can help it get an increase. Shame Sophie didn’t avoid ACR as she would have finally got #1 if Stick Season goes to DCL-3 on Friday

I would estimate that everything that was on DCL-2 last week has gone to ACR including Northern Attitude which declined this week despite being starred out

Cruel Summer has increased overall sales by 1737 this week so I assume its back to zero weeks of decline - that will annoy a certain person on this thread !!

Nothing got postponed, rep coming out was fan rumours and theories it was never confirmed. She just chose to put out a new album this year 🤷‍♂️

Do you get the Music Week Chartpack which is sent just after 8pm every Friday.

It tells you every song in the top 75 that has increased sales - you can work out which songs have not increased sales in the past week as well.

Alan Jones doesn't give the sales figures for every song.

I have access to this yes, I usually make my estimates off the Alan Jones reports then go in once it's out and see if I need to make amendments
although that's not always a foolproof way of estimating either as I was off on the SEB ACR prediction last week
