Late October? I think it should be reduced to 59p and advertised in an iTunes Christmas batch this year, would be super if it could go top 20/30 again and build on it's success.

Footprints In The Sand #1440. I really wish we got sales figures for Footprints In The Sand. It's been a really good trickle seller and I think that it might not be too far out of the question to see it pass 200k and get a silver certification some time in the future.

One More Sleep getting close to cracking the top 200! Should get there in the coming days hopefully. Christmas, With Love doing really well too! Run is going to be performed on X-factor this saturday, so should get a boost and Spirit should see a bump in sales too. Can't believe how well that Spirit trickle sells still despite selling over 3.1 million copies!

Edit: Christmas with love is #321 (CD) in music and #333 in MP3 albums on Amazon. One More Sleep is #916, #737 & #91,299 in MP3 songs with the Remix EP at 44,410 in the MP3 album chart. Run is #424 nd #8,258 in the MP3 songs.

iTunes usually puts up its "Christmas songs for 59p" on the week of December 1st. That puts it at this coming Monday at 9PM. I'll keep everything crossed. It would double the speed of how fast the song rose.

Hopefully it will be 59p, fingers crossed! It's risen so much with just a couple plays from heart. Imagine how high it could possibly go if heart hammer it again like they did last year? Or even if capital fm get on board ah so excited!

Also, Leona's domination on the Christmas section of iTunes is amazing. All the album tracks are in the top 100 (including 2 top 10 and like 5-6 top 40) and the album is #2 on the Christmas album chart behind a compilation. All that exposure on the Xmas chart will hopefully help the album/single sales this Christmas (Mariah/Michael Buble and others are classified as pop so aren't showing up in the Xmas section of iTunes, allowing Leona to get maximum exposure there).

Admittedly a bit disappointed this hasn't entered the top 100 yet. There is no 59p batch at all at the moment on iTunes. Airplay is annoying. It had a few daytime plays on Friday/Saturday but nothing since really apart from a couple of night time plays. It's irritating to have to hear the songs that are 20/30/40+ years old, when we had a NEW Christmas hit last year which was #1 on iTunes, airplay and spent two weeks in the official top 3. I'm sure she'll rise a bit more but Unless airplay dramatically picks up, I really can't see this re-entering the top 40 though.

Edit: heart just played it. <3 Hopefully a second play this afternoon.

It's doing really well considering iTunes is advertising virtually every other Christmas song on iTunes, and OMS is getting minimal airplay at the moment. I'd be very happy if it charted top 100 this Sunday. Ideally it'll go top 100 this Sunday, top 75 the Sunday after and top 40 the following Sunday.

Really great to see it rising well! I hope so too that it will be 59p at some point. It's rather amazing that it's doing so well despite not getting anywhere near as much airplay/TV play as some of the other Christmas songs on the chart. Fingers crossed that in the coming weeks Radio/TV really get behind "One More Sleep"!

Edit: It's also #101 & #251 on Amazon MP3 (with some other versionsmuch lower down on the singles and album charts). So it should be comfortably top 100 combined on Amazon mp3 which is great!

I'd really love to see what Run's sales are at now. I think we got a figure last year of ~832k or so in September? Been over a year since then and it's stayed in the top 500 generally most of the year (boosted up a few times due to X-factor) plus streaming should have helped bump its sales. I hope Leona's next album is a good success and boosts the sales of "Run". I can see it becoming a million seller in a few years or so!

She's now back at #81 and technically #75 as 5 X-factor performances which aren't eligible to chart and a pre-order are ahead. Not to mention when you take out duplicates, it's a little higher. Also doing really well on Amazon MP3 (#66, #333 & #1574 there).

All because Radio 2 just played it. They never seem to HAMMER songs, they've only played Mariah once and Wham 4 times altogether. But hopefully they'll play it a few more times in the lead up to Christmas now, especially next week.

BTW, Ella fell from 10 - 17 in the midweeks from Tues to Weds, because Sunday's Spotify data was added. The fact Leona only dropped 1 place is rather positive. She was probably around #85 on Tuesday all things considered, and Play has helped her climb, if anything. So fingers crossed, if Play is having the affect I think it is, she should climb again today in the midweeks.

This is reminding me of Leah McFall's "Home" which had very small airplay despite being an obvious hit and therefore it flopped. The only difference is Leona is an established name and has much more promo lined up which should help her.

2 bad updates on iTunes now. She's about to start dropping quickly. I think she may well miss the top 75 now, as there's no promo for this week that's going to stabilise it. This is a really bad sign for her. If this flops, she's not going to get any radio support at all for the next single.

A few days ago I posted that she'd get to number 90 and sell 5k, but I was starting to think I was wrong when it looked like she would get top 20 on iTunes. However, now that may well be about right. Looking at the percentages, she can't have sold much more than 3k so far. Oh dear.

I can see her being around 50ish on iTunes at the end of the week, so there's no way she's going to chart that high. 24 hours in the top 30 during what's already a really low sales week isn't going to afford her many sales, and there are numerous songs that will push her down 20+ places in the official charts because they have better streaming. It's a complete fail on all counts.

Yeah I just saw that. I'm really surprised it has been that stable since last night. She had 4 dark red updates in a row and that would usually be the start of the big drop for a new release. Well if she can hang on for another day or two she might just make the top 40 after all. If she sells consistently she should shift 10-15k so it'll be a close call. It'll come down to how much streaming is going to push her down.

The reason it's stabalised is because Radio 2 finally gave it a play during listening hours. Yes the lack of support from the popular stations is extremely frustrating. There's really no reason for them to ignore her. She's shown that she is so much more than a former X Factor singer. It's astonishing that radio would so arrogantly ignore a homegrown talent that has sold 20 million records.

I have a good news, but it 's kinda weird

Leona gained +1000 position on US itunes ....and that's happened during THE NIGHT, WHEN NOBODY BUY MUSIC, there is not promo, or radio etc..and thats' really weird isn't it????

She was 1254 at midnight or something and since then, so during the night she increase really fast and now is 240 and still increase, but I cannot figure it out any promo aside from billboard article yesterday evening (from what I know, maybe someone from US can give us some news where this huge increase come from)

That massive rise on US iTunes is really strange, but very encouraging. She needs to get promo kickstarted over there ASAP to capitalise on that. If we have to watch them waste every good opportunity they could get, it'll be so disheartening. I hope they do a better job of promoting over there than they have done in the UK. One performance on a show nobody watches just doesn't cut it.

Yeah that is what I imagine has given it the boost. The NBA promo definitely pushes some of the stronger parts of the song so fingers crossed it helps her out. Radio support is what Leona really needs right now.

It's been consistently in the top 1500 the last few weeks and has been as high as #230ish I believe. The "I Am" video should come out very soon and we'll get "Power" as an instagrat Friday. That should help build the album and Leona will start promoting in the UK again soon (I believe around September 6th it when UK promo starts). Plus it's BBC Radio 2's album of the week, so they'll play album tracks hopefully during peak times over the coming days to help the album out. ("Another Love Song" was played in the 12am-3am slot earlier today).

Her team in America have been phenomenal and they've promoted her incredibly and she's lucky to have had the amount of promotion that she's had. Her performances have had next to no impact unfortunate apart from her performance on Good Morning America.

I'm guessing her album could drop out of the USA top 100 which is a shame considering she performed with Taylor, James Cordan, Ellen and The Talk and it's rather poor to see her album so low on iTunes.

It felt like such a wasted opportunity to me. If anything hearing Ben singing over Run had a negative affect on how people perceived the performance. Admittedly I can't really think of any Leona singles that would have suited Ben so they were limited with choice if they were determined to do it as a duet performance.

Great way to raise money, awareness and to keep the media focussed on this horrific tragedy. There needs to be answers, justice and changes for everyone's safety.
