Although Ruud Van Nistelrooy is an honourable mention [*]The most controversial moment that you've seen from the last 25 years Paulo Di Canio pushing a referee over [*]The best games that you've seen from the last 25 years Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham 2016 Manchester United 6-1 Arsenal 2001 Leeds 4-3 Liverpool 2001 Man United 5-3 Newcastle 2002 Newcastle 2-6 Man United 2003 Out of the matches that I've seen live these are the ones that stand out. [*]The best goal you've seen from the last 25 years It's hard to pick one but I would go with Charlie Adam's goal against Chelsea in 2015 [*]The best moment of the Premier League in your opinion For the league as a whole it would be Leicester winning it in 2015/16 against the odds. [*]The worst moment Sergio Aguero's goal in the 93rd minute against QPR in 2012 [*]Funniest moment A bird shitting in Ashley Young's mouth  [*]A sending off that stands out for you Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer both getting sent off for fighting each other on the pitch even though they were teammates I will list my ultimate 11 in a separate post. The best player you've seen from the last 25 years Ronaldo for me. I only started properly getting into football about 10-12 years ago just as he was turning world class so a lot of great memories & moments spring to mind. Giggs & Scholes of course are worth a mention but their best periods were before I was an avid football follower. The most controversial moment that you've seen from the last 25 years Cheating a bit as this is a series of moments but basically Luis Suarez - the bite, the racism ban & then the refused handshake, it was seemingly a neverending saga. The other obvious one is the Cantona kick... The best games that you've seen from the last 25 years The 4-3 derby with the last minute Michael Owen winner SHOULD be here but I was working during that match  so for games I saw live it would be the 8-2 against Arsenal (just for sheer brilliance) or taking my fan cap off the 4-4 North London derby in 2008.The best goal you've seen from the last 25 years Goodness where to start. I think I might have to go for the Cisse goal against Chelsea as it's the only one I can remember literally dropping my jaw at. The best moment of the Premier League in your opinion When we won our last title with the 3-0 win against Villa that was such an amazing night as I was in my last year of Uni too so the party that night was quite spectacular! Of course from a COMPLETELY impartial view it kinda has to be *that* goal the season before. No wait, Leicester winning the league of course! The worst moment See the second sentence above. Or the 6-1 earlier that season. Or even the 4-0 to Chelsea last year, that was a painful watch. Your ultimate Premier League XI Hmmm, I'll get back to you on that one  Funniest moment When Kammy didn't know Anthony Vanden Borre had been sent off on Soccer Saturday. On the pitch itself? Not sure, the one I always instantly think of is Jimmy Bullard's pisstake celebration against City. A sending off that stands out for you Joey Barton against City (yes that game again sigh). Just to watch him completely lose it & nut a few City players was actually bloody hilarious. |

The best moment of the Premier League in your opinion Brighton winning the title in their first season in the Premier League The worst moment Crystal Palace getting a point in March, thereby avoiding being the first team to finish a Premier League season on zero points.  |

Most of my moments will be from the late 90s, as that's the main time when I had a knowledge of what was going on -
The best player you've seen from the last 25 years - Eric Cantona The most controversial moment that you've seen from the last 25 years - Robbie Fowler "celebrating" scoring a goal by getting down on his hands and knees and pretending to snort cocaine. The best games that you've seen from the last 25 years - Manchester United beating Nottingham Forest 8-1, with Ole Gunnar Solskjear scoring 4 goals from off the bench. The best goal you've seen from the last 25 years - An obvious one, but David Beckham scoring from the halfway line The best moment of the Premier League in your opinion - As above The worst moment - The referee wrongly sending off Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, thinking that he's Marcel Desailly Funniest moment - Shay Given conceding from a goal kick, because he doesn't realise that Dion Dublin is right behind him! A sending off that stands out for you - Has to be DiCanio pushing the referee. |

The BBC are currently showing a repeat of the first Match of The Day from when the Premier League started. 25 years to the day since the Premier League started.
