What a gem *.*

'Kiss It Better' I guess. Not by fans of course but it's by far her most undeserved flop.

Posted by: Klumzee Aug 17 2016, 08:22 PM

It's tricky as so many of her singles are celebrated in different ways and that there's not a select group that overshadow the rest! If I had to go for one I'd pick 'Cheers (Drink For That)', it creates such a cool summery vibe and the Avril sample works so well? And despite being lead singles both Pon de Replay and Russian Roulette are a tad underrated compared to the bigger lead singles, both 10/10 moments heart.gif

I think, singles wise, it could well be California King Bed. The first time she ever wowed me with her vocals, but I think most people overlook it unfairly because it's a ballad.

Pour it Up and Kiss it Better commercially. The latter' flop still feels very fresh and will baffle me forever more.

Amoung fans I'd say Rehab.

Looking at chart peaks, I'd pick out "Rehab" (though I guess it came a bit late in the campaign to do much more? But it doesn't seem to be singled out as much as most of her other singles)

Pour It Up and Man Down should've been BIG

If It's Lovin' That You Want

Everyone seems to dislike it or at least put it near the bottom of her singles. I'd place it very close to top 5, it is a massive jam and I cannot resist bopping to it if it comes on TV/radio.

EW @ ROCKSTAR 101

For me, it's got to be 'We Ride'. Always gets so much hate but I actually adore it!
'Break It Off' seems to have been completely forgotten (although I don't think it was released as a single so maybe that's why?). Deserves more love anyway!

Te Amo. So lush and summery sounding, fantastic production and nice vocal.

That La La La, We Ride, Kisses Don't Lie, Good Girl Gone Bad, Rehab, Cold Case Love, Photographs, Russian Roulette, Skin, Roc Me Out, Talk That Talk, Jump, Lost in Paradise, Nobody's Business, B**** Better Have My Money, Kiss It Better, Desperado and Needed Me are all criminally underrated in my eyes, most of her best work tbh.

'Rehab' is the first one to come to my head when I think of underrated Rihanna songs! Should be a RiRi classic tbh.

Man Down wub.gif

Commercially (I know it wasn't a proper WW - it should've been!) and among fans tbh.

U Da 1.
, both by fans and comercially.

In terms of singles definitely 'Man Down', 'Kiss It Better' and 'Bitch Better Have My Money' should've all been bigger (in the UK at least) for sure.

Hard so underrated.

'Four Five Seconds' is possibly my choice. I really don't understand the hate it gets, at all! sad.gif

Cold Case Love, that is single material they overlooked.

If It's Lovin' That You Want & You Da One

Two of her best, IMO.
