    Andrew's Review
Now That's What I Call Music! 19 aka Now 19 was the first release of 1991 and boasts 34 tracks of which 5 are UK #1s.
The selection of #1s can't really be argued with, but you would expect some #1s to have been left out, and on this occasion those were Vanilla Ice – Ice Ice Baby; Cliff Richard – Saviours' Day; Iron Maiden – Bring Your Daughter...To The Slaughter and The Simpsons – Do The Bartman. It is worth noting that Vanilla Ice does make an appearance on Now 19 but with his lesser known single Play That Funky Music.
Now 19 noticably has many new names to the series, and some one hit wonders, but some familiar artists to be included were MC Hammer, Robert Palmer, INXS, Belinda Carlisle and Queen.
Now 19 opened the way for artists like The Source feat. Candi Staton, The KLF, EMF and Enigma. It was also the time we got to hear the debut singles from Massive Attack and Seal.
The list of one hit wonders is too great to name, in fact, 19 artists were never heard of again in the entire series! 8O
Perhaps what grabs your attention the most is the unexpected cover for Now 19. It follows a similar trend to it's predecessor, Now 18, which was just one bass colour (in this case purple and light orange) with bold white text at the front and, in this case, "19's" scattered accross the background. Again, the designers still didn't have a clue what they were doing, and decided to scrap this design concept thereafter which was the best decision made to date.
It's very clear to me that the first part of Now 19 is very dance themed, and this was a good reflection of the best music of 1991, some chillout music also with the likes of Enigma, and perhaps the end of the second part of the compilation could be described as the lesser known songs.

Artwork Rating: 3/10 Extremely Poor
As with its predecessor Now 18, the artwork and logo continued to lack any imagination. Thankfully things would change when the next volume was released.

Disc 1 Favourite: Enigma – Sadness Part 1
This enchanting song has the ability to send shivers down my spine with its mysterious melody and haunting vocals. Despite this it was an international hit and became a chillout favourite of mine. Song title often gets confused with "Sadeness" which is the German equivalent.

Disc 2 Favourite: Seal – Crazy
My favourite Seal song, I just love it. This is possibly my favourite song of the first half of the 90's. I find myself wanting to repeat it after every listen!

Overall Rating: 7/10 Very Good
It was probably about this time of the 90's that current music suddenly changed and new styles and trends set in. Electronic dance music was on the rise, and the music scene was changing for the better. This volume celebrates some of the trendsetters of the time which took everything to the next level.

Andrew's Best 5 (as of December 2016)
1. Seal – Crazy
2. Enigma – Sadness Part 1
3. The Source feat. Candi Staton – You Got The Love
4. C&C Music Factory – Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)
5. The KLF feat. Children Of The Revolution – 3AM Eternal

Andrew's Worst 5 (as of December 2016)
1. Scritti Politti feat. Shabba Ranks – She's A Woman
2. Hale & Pace And The Stonkers – The Stonk
3. Jesus Loves You – Bow Down Mister
4. Chris Rea – Auberge
5. 2 In A Room – Wiggle It
