Was going to say the same, was never worried about the album. Would be big even if the single flopped.

The chart run is much more impressive than we/many expected.

Is their album really gonna be a "surprise" hit? I feel like most people are expecting it to be one of the biggest/most consistent performers of Q4? I should probably rephrase what I said. I meant be a surprise as in have sales even beyond their expectations. Let's be real here even though their last two studio albums went platinum they were both abandoned after one single each. 'Gravity' for example was a drop in the ocean compared to the flood of sales of Take That's 'Progress' album which was out at the same time. I think with the rejuvenation of their sound and more of a positive reassessment from the public they could potentially be looking at a bigger selling album. |

I think they will have no issues selling the album.
I think the album could reach double platinum for them. |

I think its great they are planning to release singles before the album gets released. They used to do that in the early days but I guess Simon was afraid of losing the no. 1s so they stopped which is crazy. And its such a shame 3 of their albums had only lead single and thats it. Like I said, in some way I am glad for the change in the industry just because nothing stops them from having 5 singles per album like so many artists tend to do which is a great promo for the album.

Even when a song hits ACR it still has all its sales count towards its total. Streaming also allows for songs to sell at a consistent amount for a long periods so it should have no trouble making its way to Silver.

It's up to 14 15 now on iTunes
Kindly check the overall streams of this single on Spotify daily, I will use only mobile for a long time. It's available only in desktop. I believe they've already overtaken No Place by bsb which was released a week earlier Mark just followed Celine. They will be on Denmark's Nine Festival on 3 July 2019. That date is special, it's the 21st anniversary of the band This post has been edited by myxxd: Feb 26 2019, 02:27 PM |

Thats great! I honestly never expected the single to have such a great result on Spotify. And its all done without any promo, they really should feel happy and proud of this. It had a lot of push from the media since it's a comeback single, and also got enough support from spotify playlists, if we are to tell the truth. That said i hope all the next westlife singles will have similar support... Better and stronger songs are coming... |

I would normally say ballads don't work anymore in the charts but Ed's Perfect sure proved that it can work. |
