World No 772, Marcus Willis through to the second round after he was going to take up coaching, the Brit. Could be playing Federer in the second round.
Ivanovic out in the first round. |

Djokovic is looking unbeatable again. Very hard to see past him. I'm starting to come round to his style of play though after dismissing it as a bit clinical.

The best decision that the All England Club made in getting a roof on Centre Court.
An washout today. Glad that Willis wasn't triple-bagelled by Federer today in their second-round match. |

Huge shock in the women's side with 2nd seed Muguruza losing to Cepelova who is ranked 122 places lower.
I thought she was a dead cert for the final! |

Anyone seen this rant from Trioicki:
Definitely a big rant there. |

Konta really has had a tough draw, against two players who really could have been seeds. Bouchard has really hit form in the final set. Konta doesn't have the big game experience, however by getting to the 2nd round she has bettered her Wimbledon result from last year, so her ranking won't suffer from this, should she lose. Which is looking likely as she is 5-0 down in the final set.

The occasion on Centre Court probably did get to Konta in the end.
Really thought more people would be interested in this tournament. |

Really thought more people would be interested in this tournament. I usually watch Wimbledon from the second week as I find the games are much stronger and fun to watch, and with the Euro competition in the way, I'm more interested in the Football more than Tennis. |

Del Potro recording a great comeback there at the expense of Wawrinka! Had really thought it'd be going the other way there but Del Potro was playing fantastically out there - like he's never been away.

Fantastic to see Del Potro back on a show court and beating Wawrinka.
It could be the first time since 2004 that they'll be a People's Sunday following the rain delays we've had this week. |

Both Williams sisters just scrapping through today. I am sure they will both go further though.

Same, Serena almost always has an early round wobble then barely breaks a sweat in later rounds, last year it was against Heather Watson.
With Muguruza out I don't see an obvious challenger for her as she was the only one who went power vs power against her in the French Open & won it. |

Potentially a huge upset on the cards with Djokovic 2 sets down against Sam Querrey. He's come back from 2 down many times before though!

The commentators implied that Djokovic felt put out being put on court 1 (WHICH IS A f***ING SHOW COURT).

Didn't he come last year from two sets down?
For God's sake, Djokovic you can't be on Centre Court all the time. |
