As well as Chip's mixtape, Fredo's long-awaited 2nd album will be released on Friday with Back To Basics acting as the lead single and looking like becoming a top 20 hit this week. Features on the album come from Summer Walker, Dave, Young Adz & Pop Smoke. I can 'Burner On Deck' becoming Fredo's first top 10 hit as a lead artist with both Young Adz & Pop Smoke on it. I'm sure the Dave collab will do well too. |

A Fredo/Pop Smoke collab sounds kind of interesting but did Young Adz really have to be on it as well xx

Day 1 Spotify
2. Money Talks (feat. Dave) 3. Burner On Deck (feat. Pop Smoke & Young Adz) 6. Ready (feat. Summer Walker) 7. Back To Basis 13. Biggest Mistake 17. Spaghetti 28. Do You Right 29. I Miss 30. Blood In My Eyes 33. Aunt's Place 51. What Can I Say Very close to getting the full album in the top 50. Looks like a close battle between Ready/Back To Basics to be the 3rd charting song this week. |

I know it's the last track on the album but it's interesting 'What Can I Say' is so far behind everything else considering it was actually the lead single from the album (albeit one which seemed to go completely unnoticed for some reason, this is its first day even in the top 200 on Spotify).

Based on what I’ve heard on the chart show, this is a bit hit and miss.
I really like Ready and Burner on Deck but I wasn’t as keen on Money Talks. Maybe I will listen to the full album |

I love GRM artists but Fredo has zero charisma and sounds completely lifeless most of the time. I feel like he relies on Dave a bit too much.

I'm really loving 'Money Talks', easily the best song I've heard from him as lead artist and quite possibly even better than 'Funky Friday' for me! It's really elevated by the music video as well (I think I am just a sucker for the 'filmed in reverse' concept, reminds me a bit of Coldplay's 'The Scientist' although obviously with somewhat different subject material here).
I'd be lying if I said that Dave's parts aren't the better parts of it - including the instrumental which he also produced! - but I think Fredo does hold his own on it as well x I thought 'Back To Basics' was decent too but surprising that it was a top 20 hit, it sounds more like an intro / album track than a proper single. |

'Money Talks' is a tune although Dave barely puts a foot wrong.
I was caught off guard by several EastEnders references in it "Two white, Ronnie and Roxy, Year nine, Donnie did rob me" "Still half that price, dark and light, that's Denise and Phil" "Dark and light, feed the cats, that's Denise and Max" |

I was really pleasantly surprised by this album, I just listened recently.
It’s a very solid album and I like the theme that ties the album together making it a solid collection of songs. It’s the first U.K. rap album I’ve liked in a long time |
