Looks like there's very little overlap in our highlights from the deluxe of the Dreamville album My faves were 'Spin Move', 'Up Up Away' and 'No Chorus', though I did also like 'Disgusted' and the other two J.I.D tracks out of the ones you've charted here, 'Big Black Truck' was a little disappointing though as I was expecting a massive banger from reading about it but it turned out to be easily the weakest of the 3 new songs from him imo. 'Still Up' was ok too, wasn't a fan of the Ari Lennox songs.
On the other hand the 5 Eminem songs you've charted are exactly the 5 I liked the most (although I haven't heard the whole album, only about half of it + clips of the other songs, but none of them really sounded interesting enough to look up in full). |

Up Up Away was my next favourite of the new tracks and probably would have been #21 this week if my chart went that far. I though Big Black Truck sounded great as the opening on the tracklist for the new songs but I'm already going off it a bit to be honest. Yeah these are certainly the 5 standouts from 'MTBMB' but Farewell & Little Engine are growing on me. I'm not sure where I stand on 'Stepdad' though because, on one hand, it does sound exactly like an Eminem song from 15 years ago but on the other, the chorus is so unsubtle and childish it's off-putting. Hi Lewis!
Nice to see "Rare" at #1. Eminem's new album was tolerable for me, my favourite from his album is his track with Anderson .Paak "Lock It Up". Great chart! |
