Anne-Marie actually wrote it so maybe she was testing the waters before Sigala nabbed it. She does the background vocals too.

Anne-Marie being involved with this, as if it could get any worse.

(the song is a generic bland mess as expected, let's not make this a hit pls)

The Anne Marie version sounds pretty damn good tbh.

boh, it's not like it's Anne Marie's solo song
she's 1 out of 8 cowriters, and Ella Henderson is a cowriter too

I did wonder if Anne Marie was involved in this because the way Ella sings this, it does sound like it was originally intended for Anne Marie. .

I would greatly welcome a Top 50 debut for the song this week.

Hmmm, this is fairly bland. I'm gonna blame Anne-Marie's involvement in it. laugh.gif

It's OK, its better I think than 'This Is Real' which I find rather boring and generic.

'Strings of Life' sample as I suspected, this is the third dance song I have heard sample it after the Soul Central/Kathy Brown song and Altern8- Evapor-8.

Number 50 this week. It's not a bad start in this streaming era, I think it could be top 40 next week. Fingers crossed. cheer.gif

Its a positive start but it deserves a future Top 20 peak at minimum.

You know, I've been typing updates and listening to both songs for over a week now and I've only just realised that the two songs featuring Ella Henderson aren't by the same DJ.

It is understanble to think why someone would think they are with the same DJ as both songs are on the same path of sound.

A new peak of Number 43 this week.
This deserves to make it to the Top 40 but with the sleuth of Christmas songs on the way, it is likely it will need to do so next week if, it is to ever get there.
