She picked straight back up with another really successful era and 'vampire' was a consistent hit for both myself and the UK Chart. It did nab the #1 officially due technically down to Dua going to ACR but nonetheless it didn't fail to prove how popular it was. It has a great dynamic build going half way through and is all in all a excellent song for me and one I'd rank over 'drivers licence' but on par with 'good 4 u' which would very likely have made my top 10 or even 5 for 2021 had I done one that year!

It reached number one for me and went top 15 officially. It rightfully nabs a top 10 finish for 2023 for me and comes in at 9!

They already had a top 10 BJSC smash we really loved a few years before and then we stumbled across this and was just caught up in the wonder of it along with the great video as well. It is the second highest appearance as you'd expect for a BJSC entry in 2023 and specifically of Summericia's which probably leaves some expecting the obvious last one to pop up and you'd be correct. It also proved popular even before being sent by appearing in the Buzzjack Multichart Top 75 for a few weeks!

It was already smashing outside of the UK in 2022 but became a top 20 hit in January 2023 only to return in June after he was invited and sang the song as part of Elton John's Glastonbury set which helped more discover the song quite evidently in the process and got a new official peak of #14. A really fab track which fails to come off as a slushy in the slightest!

It's a fantastic song though and deserves it's place. I have only just in the past month or two grown a little tired and would rather have a break from it but it doesn't hinder it's position here at all and only reflects how great a song it is and how it was one of the songs of the summer if not THE song for Taylor's fans!

It's a interestingly fab track which talks about life in London and you can see her in the video walking through streets. I'm sure many would have possibly expected this to be my #1 and it most certainly would have earned that but there were believe it or not 3 songs I just about rate above it. Also the song is from 2017 as well!

Peggy Gou with '(It Goes Like) Nanana' a huge summer banger and one that you just cannot resist loving. It spent so many weeks at 5 in the chart which was ultimately it's destiny. It's a shame both this and 'Good Love' ended up with lower peaks officially than the faceless 'Giving Me' but it was these ones that most loved more and I'd prefer to believe were the big dance tunes that mattered along with one other that's in the top 2!

Rob aah Joined: 3 July 2007 Posts: 38,318 User: 3,804	2 Dll6VJ2C7wo?si=MwSxxum0j9fC2Hqm It was such a big moment for RAYE as she departed from the label she was on to go independent and it gave RAYE her first official number 1 and it was richly deserved with this magnificent track in 'Escapism' which features 070 Shake who I had mistakenly thought was a male until I looked them up it's a worthy 2nd fave for me here as it just ticked all the boxes for me but even with that being said there was one song which just outdoes it for me and it's..... 1 961v0E3b01g?si=5ByQvbAoNE1dHX-s Yep Calvin Harris brought it in 2023 with this trance beast 'Miracle' which once again he linked up with Ellie Goulding for and brought her back at least one time more to chart stardom and a #1 at that as she'd be struggling with any chart hits for a long while now and Calvin wasn't really top tier for a good while neither so this was a monumental turnaround for them both and brought back that 90's/early 00's euphoric trance flava that had been solely missing for a long time. It topped my chart unsurprisingly and it also tops my chart for Best song of 2023 and couldn't think of a more perfect #1 for it really. A big congrats to them both!
