Alexandra has announced that her EP will be released inMarch 2015 ina blog post in her tumblr.
She also announced that she has worked on a project called Beast Sessions, which will include a couple of covers, from which the first one shall be released this month.
First of all.. HAPPY NEW YEAR! hope this year is filled with love and joy for you all…
2015 is already looking to be a great year and I cannot wait to share my newest chapter with you all.
It’s been a crazy few months for me as I’ve been in the studio writing and recording my EP and album. As you guys have been one of my greatest inspirations for the new music (not to mention my biggest supporters), I wanted to let you know first that my new EP will be released in March 2015.
I can reveal that the EP is called
‘R E N E G A D E ’
This EP is extremely close to my heart. It marks what is set to be a new chapter for me both personally and artistically. I have worked extremely hard on this, there has been laughter, tears and sweat. Renegade touches upon themes and experiences that I have never spoken out about before. Since the last album, a lot has changed in my life, but most importantly I have changed. I’m in a great place, healthier and stronger than ever.
I feel as an artist its important for one’s music to grow with them. I’m now twenty-six and having taken time out of the musical ring, I now have the gloves firmly back on.
My music, my rules.
Thank you for being patient with me. I can assure you I have put everything into this; this EP is a thank you to you all for sticking by me.

You guys were brilliant at picking which covers I should do for my Beast Sessions. They’re all finished now and I’ll be releasing the first one this month.

I like the chorus actually. The fact that its not huge and has that dark echo-ey undertone.

I'm not too huge on the clean chorus, but like you said the unclean may be better. v excited for the video premier as well!

It reminds me a lot of Rihanna's 'The Wait Is Ova'!
I really like this though. Although I'm not sure as LEAD single, but as an opening introductory track to the album it's perfect. PLEASE let this be her 'Rated R'! *.*

Liked both of Alexandra's albums especially Overcome but this just shows she is doing it on her own. Sorry but it's a poor single,no real chorus, the wrong sound, poor artwork etc etc. What a shame. She is very talented..

'Call Myself A Liar' is really rather good as well. Very catchy and nice melody, completely agree with the What Is Love comparison.

This is good! Colour me surprised, i thought she'd lost it after #NewRules.
Not sure why it's a clean version when it'd work much better explicit. Still, it won't do anything but i'm glad she's taking a step forward again musically. Really want her to be big again for her own sake :'(

That Call Myself A Liar isn't good at all.
Can We Go Down is solid enough, nothing new.
Renegade has quickly faded with me.
Its sad because when I was 14-17years old I stanned so hard for her.
I'm 20 now and my tastes have changed. She's playing a game with people far more superior musically (Tinashe, FKA twigs etc) and the only thing I really find unique about her is for one her performance ability (love her dancing in the Baby Tornado vid) but mainly her deep, contralto tones which are to die for when she delivers it just right (Perfect example of this is the middle 8 of the album version of All Night Long where she goes "made me forget all my worries help me put the past behind, all round us this worlds in a hurry while we stand still in time... [sooo smooth].

I really like the song Renegrade it's a massive grower and the video does the job pretty well . I'll listen to the full EP at some point.
