Semi-Final time.

And the unlucky song to not make it into the top 3 is the gloriously catchy and infectious, 'Say You'll Be There'. This song had and has everything you could need or want in a pop song. EVEN A HARMONICA SOLO! *.* All props go to the video though. Definitely one of their best videos and Mel C kicks so much ass! Lots of deserty scenes. Lots of high kicks. Lots of shots of the girls training. Lots of shots of the girls kicking major ass. Deserved top 5 placing, despite not being in my personal top 5! ohmy.gif

Ahhhhh. I really hope 'Viva Forever' wins, but it'll almost certainly be out next! Which is a shame. Solid top 3, either way! *.*

Since everyone seems to bum '2 Become 1', I'm going to tactically vote for 'Spice Up Your Life' to help 'Viva Forever' stay. Really don't understand the hate for the latter.

I don't understand the hate VF gets from some though, and FOR GOSH SAKE Sam don't be using the sick2.gif smiley and the exclamation "ugh" in association with such a glorious song!!!

Wish I could all take you back to the summer of 1998 and see how much impact Viva Forever had on Spice Girls/pop fans (yeah yeah not all) Geri was just gone but we had 1 5 piece performance at TOTP which was edited so bad that the camera keeps moving away from Geri as if she wasn't there. Viva Forever was for me the anthem of the summer of 1998 but also was the song that marked the end of the Spice mania era a era where everything the girls did turned in gold. If you ask non spice fans which song they remember next to Wannabe it's Viva Forever. It's one of the few Spice Girls songs that is timeless and if it did got released today it still be a hit.
