Commentary : Meghan Trainor keeps the number one position on the chart this week with the World's current number one single "All about that bass" and also enters my chart at 18 with what is now expected to be the follow up "Lips are moving". With "Title" up from 11 to 9 and "Dear future husband" up from 15 to 14 the 19 year old singer now has 4 tracks simultaneously on my chart and I am not sure when this last happened, certainly not for several years. However it seems unlikely that "All about that bass" will get a 3rd week at the top as there are several challengers in the wings. The Veronicas are up from 5 to 2 with "You ruin me". The song slips from the top spot in Australia this week after 3 weeks at number one and is replaced by the 3rd single from Ed Sheeran's album X namely "Thinking out loud" which rockets from 13 to 3 on my chart. The joint highest climber up from 16 to 6 is Dutch singer's Mr Probz's follow up to the number one on my chart "Waves". "Nothing else matters" reaches number one in Holland this week. The highest new entry this week is another Dutch act Kovacs who had little commercial success in their homeland with "My love" but the track is doing well in Greece and enters my chart at 17. At 19 is the current Romanian number one by Delia. "Pe aripi de vant" is the first Romanian track in my chart this year, there having been 3 in the 2013 year end Top 100, 5 in the 2012 year end Top 100 and 17 in the 2011 year end 2011 Top 100. However the track is only the second Romanian language track to feature in my chart following "Apa" by Loredana in 2013 which went all the way to number one. Finally at 20 is Vybz Kartel who had no less than four Top 10 tracks in my chart in 2010 including one number one and two number twos, "Clarks", "Clarks again", "Straight Jeans and Fitted" and "Cake Soap" and then claimed another number one in 2011 with "Summer Time" followed by a chart entry in 2013 with "Hi" and "Mamacita" earlier this year. Kartel continues to churn out the hits despite his prison sentence with his having access to a recording studio.
