Meg Myers, an American singer-songwriter representing Kylienips in Persephonia for BJSC 75, a power rock ballad that kicks quite a punch when the chorus kicks in. Hoping to turn a few heads in this month's BJSC competition, after making it through to the final after 2 DNQ's in a row.
Other material from Meg Myers can be found on her fan site, if anyone wants to hear other material from Meg Myers, a few other tracks are really good, notably Monster which I found very interesting
this COULD be your time and deservedly so. i'm rooting for you!

I reckon my stand outs are pretty much, Neopolitan Dreams, One, On My Own, Body Work Ghostcity, Walk Through Walls, Station, and On My Mind. Probably a few more others. Eliza Doolittle, PSB, and Spoon just missed the final by a few measly points And 'Sorry' is pretty much a solid track and tells a story as the track goes along which I fell in love with, pretty much straight away, when I found it, and wanted to share the track with others, and I thought this competition was the best for it to be discovered, and put Meg Myers on the map.

I had a strange feeling you might enter this as your bjsc entry after charting it for the past two weeks. I really hope this gets you top 5. It's such a powerful song and really haunting too

Sorry is easily mt fave entry of yours since Kyla La Grange, maybe even Sky Ferreira Reminds me a bit of PVRIS and I can definitely see it challenging for the win which woukd be an outstanding way to mark your 75th contest!

After my last 2 entries, I really was thinking of chucking it all in, as it was getting difficult to find anything that stands out, until Meg Myers came along. Plus with so many participants in the comp, it was beginning to feel like a struggle to find tracks, so in a way Meg Myers gave me the boost I needed.

Good luck Martin! It's quite something that you've entered every competition in BJSC's history - a win at this point would be very deserved.

To be honest I'm really dreading to host, with 75 countries, UP was different with 22 to 25 tracks, BJSC is bigger, it will be one big mess, one flop host I can't even string an MP3 together

After Meg Myers winning for Kylienips last month at Persephonia, this month Kylienips invites an Ukranian goth rock band The Hardkiss to represent Kylienips for the first time, female front singer-songwriter Julia Sanin is looking forward to perform for Kylienips with her band The Hardkiss with a hard edge soft rock goth ballad "Organ" she is set to rise the bar where Meg Myers left off.

This is an incredible entry Mikey! Kylienips coming for that double win
Posted by: Mart!n Jun 29 2015, 02:44 PM
Its not something that I usually send but I love this type of music, Nightwish, Evanescence I love, it just falls in the same bracket, plus its a band that hardly anyone knows, and the music genre is hardly stepped on.

This got a full house of woots on Plug.dj, coming for that second hit in a row *.*
Posted by: Mart!n Jul 14 2015, 10:39 PM
After winning last month with Meg Myers, The Hardkiss came 29th in the final and racked up 132 points in the end.
Well we are still on the upwards, we had a good streak with 2 finals in a row, hopefully Kylienips will continue to bust out new tracks, I do have one track in mind for BJSC77, but I do have 3 other potentials to consider.
The hosting was a wonderful experience.

Hayley likes to says hi to everyone participating in Aquafina this month with Girls Like Girls
This month Kylienips have enlisted Hayley Kiyoko to represent them in Aquafina, following on from the Hardkiss by taking a different approach with a Pop Indie track (ish), trying something different.
Posted by: Mart!n Aug 23 2015, 10:21 AM
Hayley gave a good finish in the end, but not enough to finish in 27th place amassed 170 points. Kylienips are going Indie next month a band that has never been used in BJSC before, hoping for a second win this year. Lee I'm coming after your weave.

Continuing where we left off, Kylienips have approached Toronto based Canadian act Young Empires to represent us with their moody, anthemic and uplifting track 'The Gates' all about finding clarity, supplementing the percussion with claps, echoed vocals giving the impression of chanting and the beat is like a war drum. This is a song which have you reaching for the sky as the production of the track rolls on.

Just found a million ways to harm you
Posted by: Mart!n Jul 12 2016, 09:40 AM
Its been a year since Meg Myers won BJSC for Kylienips, Scandinavian singer-songwriter Skott is waiting to be discovered debuts her new single Porcelain representing Kylienips with Porcelain, will she follow in Meg Myers footsteps to win in Beaverdonia to earn Kylienips their second win.
Skott grew up in a forest commune run by outcast folk musicians, we’re told, not hearing contemporary music until her mid-teens when she visited the city for the first time. Whatever the context, “Porcelain” is an impressive debut, a stomping effort with a memorable chorus and that edgy hint of darkness that many of our favorite Scandinavian pop artists do so well.
“The most precious things take time and care to build, but take only a fraction of that time to destroy or break,” Skott says. “‘Porcelain’ is about how you can spend limitless time creating something—trust, for example—but you can also let it fall to the ground in a second.”
Hold your horses, out of water Don't come closer, don't, don't look over me I'm like porcelain When you're with me, All, all I know is
Just found a million ways to harm you All the things I shouldn't say All the things I wanna make you happy It comes out of me
What if I am dropped, dropped the ceiling? Close my eyes, drove, drove faster I'm like porcelain When I love you, oh I know it
Just found a million ways to harm you All the things I shouldn't say All the things I wanna make you happy It comes out of me We don't count the power of destruction You can always waiting for But when we try to work us on the ?? It's too God damn hard!
Kill it the thought It takes a lot To trust that someone else Will catch my fall It takes a lifetime Breaking ghost fast When everything that matters Made of glass
Just found a million ways to harm you All the things I shouldn't say All the things I wanna make you happy It comes out of me Just found a million ways to harm you All the things I shouldn't say All the things I wanna make you happy It comes out of me We don't count the power of destruction You can always waiting for But when we try to work us on the ?? It's too God damn hard!
I'm like porcelain I'm like porcelain I'm like porcelain I'm like porcelain

Ryder is back this time she is collaborating with Danrell on the infectious track "White Noise" not to be confused with the Disclosure track of the same title. Ryder has already represented Kylienips with 'Pretty Little Gangster' last year, but due to a clerical error was elbowed out from the final Ryder has promised to amend that error for a final position in Cor Lupus.
'White Noise' is an uptempo track with violins and punchy lyrics with a great production throughout the track, hoping to win some hearts for a great discovery.
Never going back to black Remember how you used to treat me?
I ain't gonna play like that Darling you can't keep me
We started classic We ended tragic You wore me down
All the tension From small offences You wrung me out
I think we got lost in white noise Lost in white noise Too much drama imma let it go I don't want to know Too much harm upon my weary soul I don't want to know
You got those lips of sin They used to captivate me Your words they pierced my skin You always knew how to make me crazy
We started classic We ended tragic You wore me down
All the tension From small offences You wrung me out
I think We got lost in white noise Lost in white noise Too much drama imma let it go I don't want to know Too much harm upon my weary soul I don't want to know
I don't want your drama I don't want your harm upon my soul Tryna love me harder But all your giving me white noise

Echos are representing Kylenips with their soft rock power ballad 'Fiction'. Vocalist Lexi says: "this track is about feeling lost inside of the fictional stories we tell ourselves – blending in between the lines of positive and negative thinking seems to be quite a common theme of mine.”
I am out of my element Find me somewhere at the bottom In a room full of silhouettes Telling me I'll never stop them
So they follow me home And they hollow my bones Oh they won't let me go So they swallow me whole They won't let me go
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried
I play the victim with my regrets They're pulling me down to the bottom Painting circles inside my head They tell me that I have to watch them
So they follow me home And they hollow my bones Oh they won't let me go So they swallow me whole They won't let me go
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried
I do this all the time Blending in between the lines Of my fiction, of my fiction
I do this all the time Blending in between the lines Of my fiction, of my fiction
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried
I never wanted this to happen Never wanted this to die But I've pushed myself down so far I couldn't come back if I tried

Australian, Melbourne based singer-songwriter Ali Barter represents Kylienips with a hard pop rock infused track 'Girlie Bits' (not to be laughed at), its a song about recovering yourself it’s about the cage of what women expect to be, the idea of ‘femininity’ and how to fit within it.
[Verse 1] Give us a smile baby, act like a real lady Call off those battle lines, flash us your panty lines
[Pre-Chorus] What's a woman What's a woman What's a woman really made of?
[Verse 2] Give us a smile princess, it's better for business None of this angriness, show us your girly bits
[Pre-Chorus] What's a woman What's a woman What's a woman meant to look like?
What's a woman What's a woman What's a woman if she starts a fight?
[Chorus] No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man
[Verse 3] Give us a smile baby, you should be happy Wind back the dial lady, it takes a while baby
[Pre-Chorus] What's a woman What's a woman What's a woman meant to look like?
What's a woman What's a woman What's a woman if she starts a fight?
[Chorus] No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man
No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand [Overlay begins] what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man No, you don't understand what it's like to be a man

Digital Daggers are representing Kylienips for a soft rock infused track 'Heaven and Hell' with a touch of electro vibes to it. Its quite an infectious track as the track goes along, with a key change when the chorus kicks in, quite a haunting ballad, hoping to do well in the competition. Its been 2 years since Kylienips won the competition with Meg Myers, could this be our turn to the tables over the rest of the competition.
I’ve got the same deep wounds as you, My love can double as a weapon too Say that you trust it and I’ll set it free, Turn it back on me, Turn it back on me
We trade our secrets when it’s safe, Our ammunition when the fever breaks Show me the side no one else sees, Turn it back on me, Turn it back on me
I am exposed, I am undone, You tear the walls down one by one,
We tried to run, we tried to hide in fear of losing ourselves, We tried to keep it all inside so we don’t hurt someone else, When all the demons come alive I’ll still be under your spell, This could be heaven or hell, This could be heaven or hell
In you I found my only faith, I lost my halo to your renegade This love could bring me to my knees, Turn it back on me, Turn it back on me
I am exposed, I am undone, Come tear my walls down one by one,
We tried to run, we tried to hide in fear of losing ourselves, We tried to keep it all inside so we don’t hurt someone else, When all the demons come alive I’ll still be under your spell, This could be heaven or hell, This could be heaven
This could be, this could be, this could be heaven or hell This could be, this could be, this could be heaven or hell
We tried to run, we tried to hide in fear of losing ourselves, We tried to keep it all inside so we don’t hurt someone else, When all the demons come alive I’ll still be under your spell, This could be heaven or hell This could be heaven or hell
We tried to run, we tried to hide in fear of losing ourselves, We tried to keep it all inside so we don’t hurt someone else, When all the demons come alive I’ll still be under your spell, This could be heaven or hell This could be heaven or hell
When all the demons come alive I’ll still be under your spell, This could be heaven or hell This could be heaven or hell

Betty Who is an Australian singer song-writer is representing Kylienips for BJC97, an indie pop number 'Human Touch' with an upbeat catchy track with an infectious bridge to the track, the track bops along very nicely and once its lodged in your head you want to hear more. A great track to sing-a-long to.
Good love is so hard to find We got it right for a while Do you get lonely at night? We don't have to go home, we don't have to go
Low lights, cold nights, remember when I call you every now and then So good, that on and off again And on again
Oh, why don't you come over? Baby be close to me, just like you used to be Oh, one more night to hold ya We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch
I always loved how you kiss And I'm overdue for a fix Just with a touch of your lips I want you to come home, I want you to come home
Low lights, cold nights, remember when I call you every now and then So good, that on and off again And on again
Oh, why don't you come over? Baby be close to me, just like you used to be Oh, one more night to hold ya We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch (Yeah, yeah, yeah) We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch
Baby I love how you love in the in between Baby I love how it feels when you're holding me Baby I love how you love in the in between Baby I love it, I love it Oh, why don't you come over? Baby be close to me, just like you used to be
Oh, why don't you come over? Baby be close to me, just like you used to be Oh, one more night to hold ya We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch
We don't have to call it love, we just need a human touch

Best Kylienips in lightyears. Wouldn't have been a Kylienips entry at all if I was quicker off the mark!

12 contests later, Kylienips are back
Meg Myers returns after her victory with 'Sorry' winning BJSC75 with 432 points, with Little Black Death
A part of me died last night I lost my innocence to your ignorance You said it would be alright Then you took my breath away, checked into a dark daze A part of me died last night No more fairytales pretending, no more happy endings I wanna hide from the limelight I am a shadow play, I just want to run away Death
You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death
A part of me died last night You killed my faith in romance, no more second chances I wanna bathe in the tealight To erase the memory of your humanity Death
You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death
Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left Death
You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death You could be my little black death Death
(Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in) You could be my little black death (Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in) You could be my little black death (Now it's over, no more feeling Nothing left to believe in) You could be my little black death (Now it's over, no more feeling, nothing left) You could be my little black death
Kylienips representatives this month are Carnival Palace a French electronic music band based in Paris. The band's influences include Django Reinhardt, Vitalic, Lionel Hampton, and Daft Punk. they have agreed to enter Buzzjack Eurovision with their neurotic fest Miracle
Something different from Kylienips, pretty much a stand out track hoping to do much better second time outing after a long break following on from Meg Myers, bit wacky in places a bit of naughtiness but all in good fun and in good taste. Kylienips are also in for the next 2 contests as 2 more potential artists have agreed to represent Kylienips.

Audien have teamed up with Echosmith on Favourite Sound is representing Kylienips for BJSC16, the track deals with mental health issue in some form I can relate to it..
Lyrics:
And I, I tend to be my own worst enemy And I, I linger on everything But I find when I'm alone, it gets so hard to breathe And I, I, and I
Shouldn't apologize for just existing Shouldn't apologize for just being me Trying to hide behind all my distractions Okay 'til the quiet comes
When it all dies down, it gets so loud All the voices in my head just try to fill me up with doubt I'm learning how to turn around All the voices in my head I think I found my favorite sound
I think I found my favorite sound Oh, I think I found my favorite sound
Do you take the time to recognize yourself? Do you spin like a carousel? I want you to know that it's okay to ask for help We all need help, we all need help
Shouldn't apologize for just existing Shouldn't apologize for just being me Trying to hide behind all my distractions Okay when the quiet comes
When it all dies down, it gets so loud All the voices in my head just try to fill me up with doubt I'm learning how to turn around All the voices in my head I think I found my favorite sound
I think I found my favorite sound Oh, I think I found my favorite sound I think I found my favorite sound Oh, I think I found my favorite sound
Embrace the silence Trying to find this feeling that I'm doing okay I'm my own project, a work in progress I know I'm better than okay

Lyrics I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me I can see
You got me frozen like a photograph, yeah Floating in a future modern throwback, uh I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive It's clearer than it was before You can hide, you can hide, you can hide But you don't see what I do
I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me I can see every color in you I can feel every color in me I can see I can see
Caught up drifting in your rainbow eyes, yeah On the moon watching your sunrise, uh Oh I'm alive, you're alive, we're alive It's clearer than it was before You can hide, you can hide, you can hide I'll help you see what I do
I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me And I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me I can see I can see I can see
I can see every color in you And I can feel every color in me I can see

Kailee Morgue - Knew You
Kailee Morgue marks her debut into BJSC with 'Knew You' bit of a Pop jem at its best representing Kylienips, with a catchy chorus and lyrics takes you to a heartfelt level
Swim laps 'round my swimming pool and The water holds me just like you do No white noise when I go under I think I'm starting to feel better
I've got one more day Driving 'round LA Miss you when I'm done You're my favorite sun
I wish I knew you before I knew you Nobody loves me the way that you do Wish we were friends when we were kids I think it'd still feel just like this
I just can't stop missing you When it gets late in my hotel room Tell me what time you're coming through Why did I get so hooked on you Just can't stop missing you When it gets late in my hotel room Tell me what time you're coming through Why did I get so hooked on you
Big blue house with a yellow door and We can stay inside until we get bored You hate everyone as much as I do I think that's…
