I'm sorry but 'Alone Again' was an utter monstrosity, and that second single I heard wasn't much better so I anticipate it won't be quite as bad...

Alyssa is a great lyricist and singer, but her release strategy hasn't allowed her to show off her talent. Alone Again is a nice enough throwaway pop song, The Game got old in a hurry and I now see it as a total hot mess, but she shone with Talk Me Down. Her lyrics in it are really touching, and the double entendre is really clever: "you can watch me up high, but you won't talk me down". I don't know if it would've worked as a first single, but definitely better than The Game as the second single. I'm expecting great things from the title of this.
