I think they rounded the sales up and I don't think streaming has been added into these sales as I'm sure 'What About Us ' would now be on 420,000.

Fascinated by the bottom three! I had no idea Fall/Chasing Lights had sales
EDIT: Lose Control I can imagine as it featured on one of the St Trinians films I think? This post has been edited by seantobewild: 9th August 2014, 10:46 AM |

Surely Karma or Puppet sold more than Lose Control since they actually charted top 200?
And poor Not Giving Up. |

Interesting to see their Top 3 best selling album tracks! Wouldn't have assumed any of those, like shadow2009 said I would have guessed Karma/Puppet. Chasing Lights/Fall must have trickle sold small amounts consistently over 2008/9? Lose Control must have benefited from inclusion on Wordshaker & Headlines, as well as the reasons stated above (film usage, sound bed on TV show).
Kind of surprised 'One Shot' isn't in their Top 3 best selling album tracks! As for the singles, kind of frustrating that they've only revealed the Top 5 sales. Nice to know, but I'm most curious about Notorious! Also it is strange that 'JCGE' is down to 280k. In March 2013 it was on the verge of 285k, so if anything you'd think they'd have rounded up to 290k. |

"Chasing Lights" and "Lose Control" should have been singles all along *sigh* and Not Giving Up should be at least 5 places higher

Chasing Lights and Lose Control should have been singles, they would have been fantastic, also glad that What About Us has finally made it to 400,000, and hope that Disco Love sells more and makes the top 10

I'm a bit iffy about these sales. I do think WAU would be higher than 400k. Just Can't Get Enough and If This Is Love have lost sales from their totals from a year ago. and I would have expected Higher to have sold more than 5k in over a year since it's consistently in the iTunes pop.

I can't remember what the last figure was that we had for 'What About Us' prior to it being certified Gold, but it was only on 387,981 on 5th January 2014, and it hasn't been in the Top 200 since then. It's not necessarily well over 400k?
It is a bit strange that they've shed off 5k respectively from If This Is Love [115k in Jan 2012, 110k in July 2014] & Just Can't Get Enough [284.5k in March 2013, 280k in August 2014]. |
