One of the key examples of Madonna revamping an old classic into something fresh was her performance of 'Like a Virgin' on the Confessions Tour. I find that Stuart Price's midas touch makes you to forget the song's novelty connotations for a while and allows the song to hold its own against the then-current songs from the album. I enjoy the mechanical saddle routine, especially for its nod to her recent horse riding accident. Round 11: Like a Virgin [02/05; 40.00%] Round 10: La Isla Bonita [02/04; 50.00%] Round 09: Drowned World (Substitute for Love) [02/07; 28.57%] Round 08: Get Together [03/06; 50.00%] Round 07: Erotica [02/07; 33.33%] Round 06: Sorry [03/05; 60.00%] Round 05: Music Inferno [04/08; 50.00%] Round 04: Let It Will Be [04/07; 57.14%] Round 03: Isaac [05/09; 55.56%] Round 02: Paradise (Not for Me) [04/09; 44.44%] Won Deadlock Round 02: Like It Or Not [05/09; 55.56%] Lost Deadlock Round 01: I Love New York [06/08; 75.00%] |

Here we go!
'Ray of Light' for me. This is one of the better post-era performances for me, but nothing has a patch on the original production and vocal. |

As much as I really don't want to, I've gone for Ray of Light. The others are 10/10 while this is ~9.5/10 :')
