Lizzo is trying to be the new Cardi B imo. Well, I don't follow the US charts but I would like to know if she(Lizzo) has any US top 40 hit so far... Lizzo and Cardi B are quite notably different I'd say. The only comparison is they are both black female rappers (though of course, Lizzo sings too). Truth Hurts is Lizzo's only notable US hit, peaking at #6 very recently. |

JAY1 Mocking It 4th single from One Wave Released: 20th June 2019 Label: GRM Records Chart Statistics NE (04/07/2019) | 19-27-28-31 Sales: 50k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 76 Sales 21 Audio Streaming 25 Video Streaming Video Biography Flying the flag for Coventry's rap scene with a self-assured swagger, JAY1 had a meteoric rise after single "Your Mrs" made its way to the 18th spot on the U.K. charts. Originally rapping as Young Jay, JAY1 started making music seriously after moving from North London to the historically student-based city of Coventry in 2016. Bold, self-assured vocals and candid lyrics gave the U.K. MC a fundamental versatility: despite often letting his lyrics speak for themselves on minimalist trap beats, he demonstrated his ability to adapt to everything from drill to dancehall. After delivering freestyles on two popular U.K. video series, Bl@ckbox and Hardest Out, JAY1 saw his first major success with "That's My Bae," which blew up through online video channels before inspiring its own freestyle challenge. A series of 2018 singles helped boost the rapper's fan base and expand his sound, leading to him trying his hand at summer dancehall on "Good Vibes" and blunt braggadocio on "Becky." It wasn't until "Your Mrs" that the Coventry MC found his breakout hit: After a snippet of its chorus received social media buzz, the song's music video hit a million views on streaming services just three days after its release. Building on this success, he quickly landed a spot on the remix of Russ and Tion Wayne's "Keisha & Becky," before appearing on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth radio show in April 2019. His debut EP, One Wave, was released in July of the same year. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2019 18 Your Mrs -1- 2019 19 Mocking It -2- Social Media JAY1 |

Mark Ronson featuring Camila Cabello Find U Again 3rd single from Late Night Feelings Released: 31st May 2019 Label: Mark Ronson Chart Statistics NE (13/06/2019) | 41-55-54-37-31-31-30 Sales: 70k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 32 Sales 38 Audio Streaming 98 Video Streaming Video Biography Mark Daniel Ronson (born 4 September 1975) is an English–American musician, DJ, singer, songwriter and record producer.[2] Ronson is best known for his collaborations with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, Adele, Lily Allen, Miley Cyrus, Queens of the Stone Age, and Bruno Mars. He has received seven Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year for Winehouse's album Back to Black and two for Record of the Year singles "Rehab" and "Uptown Funk". He received an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Grammy Award for co-writing the song "Shallow" for the film A Star is Born (2018). Ronson was born in London and raised in New York City. His stepfather is Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones, which contributed to a childhood surrounded by music. While attending New York University, Ronson became a popular DJ in the hip hop scene. His debut album Here Comes the Fuzz failed to make an impact on the charts. In 2006, he received acclaim for producing albums for Lily Allen, Christina Aguilera, and Amy Winehouse. In 2007, Ronson released his second album, Version. The album reached number two in the UK and included three top 10 singles and earned him the Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist. He subsequently released his third studio album, Record Collection, peaking at number two in the UK. In 2014, Ronson released his single "Uptown Funk" featuring vocals from Bruno Mars. The single spent 14 consecutive weeks at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart and became one of the best-selling singles of all-time. His fourth studio album, Uptown Special, became his most successful album to date. In 2018, he founded his own label, Zelig Records (an imprint of Columbia Records), and formed the duo Silk City with fellow producer Diplo, for which he received the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for the song "Electricity". Beyond his work in entertainment, Ronson is dedicated to using his creative influence to help others. In 2015, he became a patron of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps disadvantaged youth through music. He has also worked with the End the Silence campaign to raise money and awareness for the Hope and Homes for Children charity and most recently became an artist mentor at Turnaround Arts, a national program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, which helps low-performing schools through arts education. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Mark Ronson 2003 15 Ooh Wee (feat. Drake featuring Rick Ross Money In The Grave 1st single from The Best In The World Pack Released: 15th June 2019 Label: Frozen Moments Raptors win by four and Drake drops two for good measure. - iTunes Chart Statistics NE (20/06/2019) | 13-15-17-22-29 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 67 Sales 13 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur, Drake has founded the OVO Sound record label with longtime collaborator 40. Drake gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Intent on pursuing a career in music, he left the series in 2007 after releasing his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement. He released two further independent projects, Comeback Season and So Far Gone, before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009. Drake released his debut studio album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum. His next two releases, 2011's Take Care and 2013's Nothing Was the Same, were critically and commercially successful; the former earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. In 2015, he released two mixtapes—the trap-influenced If You're Reading This It's Too Late and a collaboration with Future titled What a Time to Be Alive—both of which earned platinum certification in the U.S. His fourth album, Views (2016), broke several chart records. The dancehall-influenced album sat atop the Billboard 200 for 13 nonconsecutive weeks, becoming the first album by a male solo artist to do so in over 10 years. The album's second single, "One Dance", topped the charts in several countries, and became his first number-one single as a lead artist. That year, Drake led both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts simultaneously for eight weeks. Views achieved quadruple platinum status in the US, and earned over 1 million album-equivalent units in the first week of its release. It became Drake's best-selling album to date. Its lead single "Hotline Bling" peaked at number two on the Hot 100 and received Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song. In 2017, he released the "playlist" More Life. It became his seventh consecutive number one on the Billboard 200, and set multiple streaming records. A year later, he released the double album Scorpion, which also broke several streaming records, and contains the Grammy Award winning number-one single "God's Plan", and the bounce-infused number ones "Nice for What" and "In My Feelings". Among the world's best-selling music artists, with over 150 million records sold worldwide, he is ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the world's highest-certified digital singles artist. Drake holds several Billboard chart records. He has the most charted songs (186) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (27), the most time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks) and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (22). He also has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Charts. Drake has also won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, twenty-seven Billboard Music Awards and three Juno Awards. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Drake 2009 42 Forever (feat. On the strength of his lone single, the Bathgate native sold out legendary Glasgow club King Tut's and notched millions of streams before dropping his follow-up single, the equally stark "Lost on You," later that summer. After signing with Virgin Records, Capaldi included both songs on his debut EP, Bloom, and capped off his banner year with a Scottish Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The front half of 2018 was spent touring in North America and Europe in advance of his next single, "Rush," featuring Jessie Reyez. "Tough" followed a few months later. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2018 09 Grace -2- 2018 01 Someone You Loved -3- MILLIONAIRE 2019 16 Bruises -1- 2019 04 Hold Me While You Wait -4- Social Media Lewis Capaldi |

After opening shows in the U.K. for Gavin James earlier in the year, she made her headlining debut in May 2017. Concentrating on plaintive ballads, the show doubled as her recording debut; Live at St. Pancras Old Church was released by Good Soldier Records that September. It included an acoustic version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song "Maps." In 2018 she issued the sumptuous, slow-burn single "Ultraviolet" and collaborated with MJ Cole on the moody "Waking Up." That same year she issued a second live album, Live at the Omeara. Ridings' first studio EP, You Mean the World to Me, was released in early 2019. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2018 09 Lost Without You -1- 2019 57 You Mean The World To Me -2- 2019 26 Castles -3- Social Media Freya Ridings |
