Now we have a release date set for April 26th how do people think this is gonna do.
I still think she should debut at #1 though but think boosts may come in June time around the time of the tour. Sales wise I’m thinking between 45-50K with around a 75/25% sales / streams divide with paid for sales being the most prominent. (UK) Australia she should easily manage numher one as it’s her most hardcore market USA wise I think she could do around 200K possibly higher if there’s a bundle included like Beautiful Trauma. PRE ORDER for this available now so it’ll have four weeks worth of those before release
Catfish and The Bottlemen and Marina releasing same week. |

I agree that sales over here will probably pick up in the summer while she's on tour, but I don't think this will sell that well. She's not going to have any time to promote it properly. I can't wait for new music, but I really don't know why they couldn't have waited until the end of summer for this release.

Yeah I think the sales won’t be as big as BT. I sort of feel like she’s lost the hype she had building around February? I think it’ll at least clear 30k and probably be the no.1 album that week although she will have competition from Catfish and the Bottlemen.

I can see Catfish and the Bottlemen beating her to #1 only just tbh, they'll have a huge streaming advantage plus this era hasn't had half as much hype as her previous albums. She'll sell better in the long run I'm sure but a #2 peak isn't unlikely

She’s ahead on iTunes pre orders. And she’s ahead on Amazon
But on Apple Music they’re ahead. I think she’ll be number one on paid for sales. GAH. She’d have easily been #1 if she released it this week. I really hope she gets it. I feel I may have overestimated her in my prediction but I under estimated her last time she released one so who knows. |

So pleased to see her no.1 in the midweeks. I’ve just ranted in that thread because some of the comments were idiotic.

Absolutely amazing. She narrowly beat Billie Eilish’s first week sales to become the second highest of the year after Ariana Grande. It’s not a massive come down from BT considering the market has fallen further, it’s not a Q4 release and there seems to have been very little hype since the BRITs.
She so deserves this. |
