I need to peep the MØ EP, the title track is fab and I've liked all her singles from Kamikaze onwards to some extent!

Delighted to see you enjoyed Harry Styles' album, it definitely took me as something you'd appreciate when I first heard it! Brilliant for Kesha too, such a triumphant comeback.

20 Oh Wonder Ultralife the debut was gonna be near-impossible to top, there's a good effort tho especially with the main singles plus ballad My Friends stealing the show in the second half highlights: Ultralife, Lifetimes, High On Humans, My Friends 19 Charli XCX Number 1 Angel the wait for a proper album continues but a few mixtapes are good enough right? charli's music sounding sleeker than ever here as a bit of the bubblegum bass style from the Vroom Vroom EP carries over highlights: Dreamer, Pull Up, Roll With Me, Lipgloss 18 MUNA About U under the radar pop newbies with a debut that really hits the mark emotionally at certain points highlights: Loudspeaker, I Know a Place, Winterbreak, Crying on the Bathroom Floor 17 Calvin Harris Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 Calvin's return to form with this nu-disco/r&b sheen made for an ideal summer soundtrack highlights: Slide, Cash Out, Heatstroke, Feels 16 Haim Something To Tell You the sisters back at it again finally *.* it's not quite Days Are Gone but still an album packed with solid pop rock tunes highlights: Want You Back, Little Of Your Love, Ready For You, You Never Knew |

Calvin did have some quite nice songs on his most recent album but I much preferred the Calvin of the 00s

15 Mura Masa Mura Masa plenty of light bops to be found on the Mura Masa debut, from two really good Bonzai tracks to old faves like Firefly to a Christine and the Queens collab we definitely needed highlights: Nuggets, Firefly, What If I Go, helpline, Second 2 None 14 Alex Cameron Forced Witness been rising in my affections recently, pop with an eccentric twist as Alex portrays this rather sketchy character throughout the record highlights: Candy May, Runnin Outta Luck, Strangers Kiss, Marlon Brando 13 Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Who Built The Moon? Noel G going a bit psychedelic could only produce good results highlights: Fort Knox, Holy Mountain, It's A Beautiful World, She Taught Me How To Fly, The Man Who Built the Moon 12 Charly Bliss Guppy poppy and catchy garage rock with a unique vocal! highlights: Percolator, Westermack, Glitter, Black Hole 11 Neil Cicierega Mouth Moods internet comedian (and brainchild behind Lemon Demon) mashes up popular hits while repurposing others. gets downright hilarious at times (Brian Johnson's vocals pasted over A Thousand Miles on AC/VC, and of course the track Bustin' "i ain't afraid of no sleep!") highlights: AC/VC, Annoyed Grunt, Bustin, Tiger, Wallspin |

10 Dutch Uncles Big Balloon the little known british band deliver again, some of the album's best tracks go for a heavier rock sound in comparison to O Shudder but still keep an emphasis on great grooves, all capped off by their most infectious track yet in 'Oh Yeah' highlights: Big Balloon, Baskin', Combo Box, Oh Yeah 9 Lorde Melodrama was curious about how Lorde's second album would turn out, after 'Green Light' there were no real worries <3 matured songwriting and a well-rounded pop record highlights: Green Light, Sober, Homemade Dynamite, Liability, Supercut |
