Quentin Tarantino's 9th film has been announced for a release date of the 9th August 2019 and will be distributed by Sony in America (and possibly worldwide idk)! The film is about the Manson Family Murders and opens on 50th anniversary of the day the Manson family committed the LaBianca murders and the day after actress Sharon Tate was killed. The film is being shrouded in secrecy, but is set in 1969 and is believed to involve Charles Manson and the Manson family murders. The director has told media outlets that it’s not a biopic, but is an ensemble film set during the tumultuous time period.
Tarantino is reportedly looking at several big actors to round out his cast, including Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie.
I need this film in my life and they haven't even started shooting it yet
Di Caprio officially cast!
Tom Cruise, Margot Robbie & Al Pacino all seem to be heavily rumoured!
Called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Di Caprio & Brad Pitt are playing the leads!
I don't like the sounds of it, I much prefer:
First official pictures are out and it looks incredible *.*
This is probs gonna slay the Oscars next year <3 Can def see DiCaprio/Pitt/Robbie getting noms and I can see Pacino/Fanning getting in as well if the film is loved
That casting is outstanding!!
I just hope it's to the standards of 'Inglorious Basterds' & 'Django Unchained' rather than... well... almost everything else Tarantino has done. Sorry, not sorry x
Did you get the recently released Once Upon a Time Season 2 Blu-ray?
Looks very good. Margot looks so stunning!
Doesn't give much away in regards to what it's actually about really

Six-minute standing ovaiton at Cannes!
beyond. excited about this the more and more i hear!
Currently 93% on Rotten Tomatoes which makes it his highest rated film
Desperate to see this as he is my favourite director and I adore everything he's done but my friends and family don't appreciate him so I've got no one to go with
Seeing reviews for this has me so unbelievably hyped
Cast looks amazing and everyone else attached but... wtf is that trailer all about I have zero idea what I’ll be going to see?
This was fantastic! The acting, plot and directing was perfect and it worked incredibly. DiCaprio & Pitt are both fantastic in this and the whole ensemble is fab
Imma put the rest of my initial thoughts in spoiler tags, y'all should try and avoid all spoilers for the ending on social media for the next few weeks tho!
Both of the two leads are fantastic. Leo once again better here than in his Oscar winning performance & fantastic as ever. Typically great performance from him. Pitt surprised me more and was so much fun in this. Both slayed. I think I preferred Leo just but it's close
I also loved Margot in this. Yep her role is nowhere near as big as we were expecting pre-Cannes premiere but I think she encapsaultes Sharon Tate perfectly. I esp loved the scene of her in the cinema + watching her film <3
The whole ensemble is incredible, no one else is in more than like one or two scenes but they all nail it. I wanted more Dakota Fanning, I loved her and her character so much
So many great scenes but the standouts for me were: the Bruce Lee scene (everything was PERFECT and so hilarious, Xoe Bell's character was fab as well in the aftermath I was living for Janet *.*), Leo's scene with the child and
That ending/last 30 mins. We're FANTASTIC. Omg I was shook it was entertaining, exciting and incredibly filmed & acted. It worked perfectly. Not what I was expecting at all ahh
Epic soundtrack as always & tarantino's direction was fab *.*
I'm absolutely shattered so my thoughts are nowhere near as eloquent as they should be
10/10
Also I was at the LA premiere the other day and I was so close to Leo and Brad in person 😍 (I was a bit too far away to get pics with them tho 😭). Also saw so many celebs from my spot arriving at the red carpet, I also saw Britney which I didn't even realise until I looked through my pics *.*
Just got back from watching it! Ahhhhh he did it again, a legend!
The last 30 minutes or so! Incredible!
Saw it again today and loved it so much again!
Really want to see this but it's an 18 (and my local cinema actually checks IDs).
Guess I'll wait until it's online/DVD - looking forward to it!
Great film, very unexpected from Tarrantino although at the same not as his films aren't always massively plot-driven, but it was very restrained up until the final act (which was also pretty awesome, pretty graphic, but can't say I didn't enjoy it). Was excellently acted and I liked that it seemed to get darker as it went into the Manson murders part as it reflected Hollywood in itself going out of it's golden age. I'm not actually that well versed in the Manson murders, I feel like I may have enjoyed it more had I been so, but I still enjoyed it.
I just wish Margot Robbie had been given more to do (especially given he was rewriting history anyway at the end and she doesn't even die), apart from well, just look pretty as I feel there was more to her than that, as we saw from the movie scene.
Saw this tonight and enjoyed it but like most films from him it's so ott. But like di caprio and Pitt a lot and Damian Lewis looked a spit of McQueen!
