An open race in the singles chart, Tones And I leads the way on iTunes & Spotify, while Regard, Aitch, AJ Tracey and Kygo are also in contention. Potential new entries include Lewis Capaldi’s Bruises, Riton/Oliver Heldens’ Turn Me On, French Montana’s Writing On The Wall and D-Block Europe/Dave’s Playing for Keeps

The Beatles’ Abbey Road sees a 50th anniversary re-issue, could it return to #1? Other new albums include D-Block Europe with Ptsd, Opeth with In Cauda Venenum, Beth Hart’s War In My Mind, Sturgill Simpson’s Sound & Fury and Scouting For Girls’ The Trouble With Boys, plus new EPs from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Adam Lambert

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Looks like Abbey Road will get a week at No1 in the albums, prob only sell 25k. Big drop for Liam, should easily do 100k by the end of the year.

As a *song* it'd be the best number 1 since "Someone You Loved", and just like with that song, it has a very polarising marmite vocal. I'm still finding it hard to listen to but I guess in time will get used to it - I ended up loving "Someone You Loved"!

Poor Becky Hill.

I wonder if ‘Bruises’ could get a new peak this week? It’s already falling two positions since yesterday!

Yay for The Beatles heading for a comfortable #1 xx (I thought it would get there but then saw how expensive the 'super deluxe' version is and suddenly wasn't so sure).

Assuming #90 in the singles chart update is meant to be 'INTRO' as there isn't an 'outro' track on DaBaby's album. Guessing that'll be out of the top 100 by the end of the week anyway leaving DaBaby still without a top 100 appearance in the UK (but should have a top 40 album, kool ~)
