looking forward to Drake's new song annoying most of Buzzjack and I suppose I quite like the George Ezra and A$AP Rocky songs that are set to enter (and the Dappy song is okay). About time A$AP Rocky had a top 40 hit as lead artist anyway, that is long overdue ('F**kin Problems' and 'Wild For The Night' did really well to go top 50 back before the inclusion of streaming I suppose, shame those two just missed top 40).

Missed the top 40 this week?
Jonas Blue featuring Jack & Jack Rise - Non-Album Single Released: 25th May 2018 Label: Positiva / Virgin EMI Records Video Biography London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue (born Guy James Robin in Essex, England) caught the attention of the industry with his reimagining of Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit "Fast Car." Adding a tropical house tint to the plaintive, bittersweet acoustic original, Blue enlisted the talents of young British singer Dakota, whose sultry vocals helped carry the song to the top of 17 international charts, including number one slots in Australia, Scotland, and both the U.K. and U.S. dance charts. In 2016 Blue released "Perfect Strangers," the follow-up to his global smash, featuring JP Cooper on vocals. The single landed in the Top Ten internationally and was followed by "By Your Side" with Raye. The following year he issued "Mama," his collaboration with Australian pop vocalist William Singe. That track would appear on Electronic Nature: The Mix 2017, a compilation of favorites from the DJ's own live sets. In addition to his own hit singles, the collection included his spins on songs by Galantis, Zedd, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, and more. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Jonas Blue 2016 02 Fast Car (Jonas Blue feat. ZAYN Entertainer - 3rd Single Released: 23rd May 2018 Label: RCA Records A smouldering serenade tangled up in heartbreak. - iTunes Video Biography Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik (/ˈmælɪk/, Urdu: زین جواد ملک; born 12 January 1993), recording mononymously as Zayn, is an English singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Malik auditioned as a solo artist for the British music competition The X Factor in 2010. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Malik was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the boy band that would become known as One Direction. Malik split from the group in March 2015 and signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records. Adopting a more alternative R&B music style with his debut studio album Mind of Mine (2016) and its lead single, "Pillowtalk", Malik became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the UK and US with a debut single and debut album. Born James Baker in Memphis, Tennessee, JB grew up in a large, single-parent household and would sneak his brother's equipment away to record his own music. The self-taught producer and dancer released his first song, "Goons Coming," when he was just a teenager. In 2017, he issued "No Chorus, Pt. 6" and "Shoot," the latter of which took off and caught the ears of high-profile rappers like Drake. Produced by Keith, the track was featured on his mixtape Who Am I 3, and was recorded in the rapper's closet. As his online audience grew, he issued additional mixtapes like The Purple M&M and Simi. In early 2018, he scored a major co-sign when Drake joined him on the track "Look Alive," which amassed millions of streams within a month of its release. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History BlocBoy JB 2018 17 Look Alive (BlocBoy JB feat. Feels weird this has spent 16 weeks Top 40. It's such a nothingy song.. I've heard it a few times but I can't remember any of it Drake's part just then sounded a bit like Bodak Yellow though I think (probably 16 weeks late on that comment but oh well)
Here for Shotgun entering this week, Top 20 I hope |
