So at the end of round one 80% of you decided that Music Of The Sun was your least favourite album by her overall.
Her debut album peaked at #35 in the UK spawned two top 20 singles and was a nice introduction to her at best. However the overall sound isn’t something what’s really seen as a highlight of her career and had she not majorly stepped up she may not be where she is today. Now we’ve said goodbye to what seems to be many’s least favourite album by her this is where things get interesting. What’s your least favourite album from her from the remaining 7 albums of her career. Get your votes in. Closing this on MONDAY at 6pm. I was torn between Good Girl Gone Bad and A Girl Like Me but went with the latter.

I’ve also went for A Girl Like Me.
A step up from Music Of The Sun but it still lacks those huge highs and I think she really stepped things upwards from this era onwards. But it’s her most patchy album remaining for me. And vocally I think she’s really stepped it up a lot too since this era. |

Unapologetic.
I must be one of the few who rate AGLM going by the results. Rihanna definitely upped her game from the GGGB going forward but Unapologetic was a real dip in quality after a five-album run of excellence. Diamonds is probably her weakest lead for me, if we are excluding Take A Bow, and Stay and Pour It Up were strong but nowhere near the highs of the other albums. It just seemed that after 7 years of churning out album after album the quality of material/effort plummeted. This post has been edited by Scene: 11th April 2020, 08:40 AM |

Perhaps a two horse race by the looks of things so far. Sad but not surprised at Unapologetic potentially leaving this fairly soon sad.gif Still closing this tomorrow just want some more votes before. Thanks for existing votes already! |
