Ed Sheeran could remain at #1 for a seventh week, with The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber entering contention, plus big new arrivals incoming from The Weeknd with his new single Take My Breath and KSI & Lil Wayne with Lose

A wide open week on the album chart, with new contenders from Will Young with Crying On The Bathroom Floor and Barbra Streisand’s Release Me 2, plus Fredo’s second 2021 release Independence Day and Nas’ King’s Disease II. Other new releases include Tinashe, Brian May, Kim Wilde, The Wandering Hearts, Liars and Lingua Ignota

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Think the album battle will be interesting this week
Just checked and the last Will Young album opened with 16K
while the last Barbra Streisand album opened with 15K
Fredo opened with 13K with his latest in January with nearly 12K from streaming but this one seems to be doing far worst on streaming

so probably between Will and Barbra but Dave sure could also be. contender as he might do again 15K thanks to his streams
