I don't know why more people aren't talking about her, for me she's one of the only artists recently who is delivering everytime, if you're not familiar her biggest hits thus far have been 'Heart To Break' and 'I Don't Want It All'. She also features in probably Cheat Codes best song 'Feeling of Falling'.
She has a sick Halloween album she released last year called 'TURN OFF THE LIGHT Vol 1' and most recently she has been releasing songs weekly, my favourites have been 'Sweet Spot' and 'Blow It All'.
Check her out if you haven't already.
I've been really loving 'Heart To Break' recently, but nothing else I've heard of hers really does anything for me.
I Don't Want It At All SLAPS! I've gotten into a lot of her songs recently but that is by far my favourite of the ones I didn't already know
Kim's new album Turn Off the Light, Volume 2 is coming on Tuesday. I can't wait to hear more music from her - Clarity is amongst my albums of the year!
Her affiliation with Dr Luke puts me off
Oh dear, I wasn't aware of that.
'purgatory' is a 2-minute instrumental BANGER *.* what a way to start it off!
goodness, those instrumentals overall slay the FUCK out of this album. I was never into Petras but this is so good. The fact all the songs I can get on board with are ones where she doesn't sing is purely coincidental~
People sleep way too much on Kim Petras, one of the most consistently fantastic pop artists around at the moment. This doesn't have anything on most of Clarity but it's still fantastic - There Will Be Blood being the highlight.
Kim's reign as the hardest working popstar continues as she's about to release a video of Icy, one of the greatest tracks from Clarity, just 1 week after her Charlie's Angels OST single How It's Done was released. Preview for Icy vid:
Icy is Scott Mills’ Tune of the Week on Radio 1 this week
Well she certainly delivered!
Great video - love the song too - deserves to be a hit but at the same time it's too good to be a hit in 2019.
Okay, this is great and I'm willing it to be her proper breakthrough!
I don't see her even particularly being big, but this is really one of my favourite songs of the year - was bolstered by seeing her live in July but that video has given it an even further push if I was even slightly sick of it.
She's so so good, way underrated.
I get Pia Mia vibes
Stunning video, serving budget! *.* I got tickets to see her in Manchester next year too which I'm super excited for, she was incredible at Pride!
